still im not sure giannis has ever proven that he can "get buckets when all the chips are in" like bron or kawhi

yeah i think brogdon wanted out after they went all in on bledsoe

trading for and spending big on bledsoe is the type of small mistake that keeps a team out of the winners circle

Kyrie and Ray Allen were pretty good at it for him

Honestly can’t remember Lebron hitting a big shot in the playoffs. I’m sure it happened in some of his 300 career playoff games

those were two very great and important shots but bron "imposed his will" on countless big game situations

Giannis imposes his will pretty well

idk he kind got shut down or at least shut down enough by the raps, his lack of shooting makes his bag of tricks smaller

tbh going with Bledsoe makes some sense to me, he's faster & a better defender, plus Brogdon's had some injury issues. but Brog was pretty good in the playoffs, he was really the only dude for Milwaukee who showed up in ECF besides Giannis & Brook Lopez, plus that one Middleton game

they could have kept brogdon. he was a restricted free agent. it was reported that he wanted out but it wasn't up to him.

btw I know its still early but Giannis def seems to be making progress on hitting stepbacks and wide open 3s this year

his FT shooting on the other hand is very Shaq-esque

hes just not consistent. great role player but horrible 3rd best player on a team trying to win it all

meanwhile Brogdon seems like the kind of dude who makes everyone better, he has great court vision & shoots very well. he's racking up tons of assists on the Pacers which he didn't really do in Milwaukee.

btw this year i became totally comfortable crowning bron the GOAT

i watched a lakers game where he demolished a fourth quarter cause he felt like it then saw some old jordan clips thatre starting to look old and was just like.......its time

now watch clips where LBJ quits on his team in ECF or where he loses a Finals to Dirk + role players while scoring < 18ppg on poor allaround shooting

lol I'm actually fine with anyone having him as their GOAT. He's very very good at basketball and has been for a long time.

and hes still dominant at 34, tho obvs doesnt have the energy level to do it all game every game

MJ's shooting % starting falling by that age, and points/rebs/asts were all down a tick. LBJ basically still has same numbers for all those as he did in the typical late 20s athletic prime.

i'm with matt on this one, the only magical thing that happens is every game is vs a good team that isn't resting any players

They call fouls less and sometimes they totally shaft role players. Two things that I don’t seeing a big problem for Giannis (certainly wasn’t for Shaq)

giannis might want to think about making his game more like shaqs

imo the 2011 Finals were more about Dirk than Lebron

still hard to fault him too much when he got to the Finals all 4 years he was on the team then 4 more times with the Cavs, all with oddly constructed teams. when Jordan left to go play baseball the Bulls were still pretty decent, they won 55 games & a playoff series, meanwhile all of Bron's ex-teams utterly fell apart the instant he left
