they weren't one year early on derrick rose so much as they were one year late on realizing that he is, at best, a bench scorer and in no way the focal point of a starting 5 offense

his roles in minnesota and new york were very different, it's not about usage. what he's doing this season on a garbage team missing its only other good offensive player doesn't really mean much to me. maybe he could be the back up point guard on a good team, but any team giving him that much of the ball is going to be bad.

He played 5 fewer minutes per game in minnesota and had higher usage. It was the same thing as New York, he just wasn’t healthy yet. It is what it is.

yeah celtics have been putting smart on porzingis for years

the mavs are one of the least physical teams in the nba right now. i like kleber ok but between him zinger and powell it's a bunch of guys you can push around.

i know the bruise was bad but it was cumulative injuries and general tiredness with nfl life that caused him to retire

dam his fg% dropped from 43.2% to 39%
