they already have a starting 5 that fits the bill (tho theis is prob better coming off the bench), and they have hayward kanter young guys and draft picks to trade....

fwiw im sure were about to have a media deluge of are the celtics for real and speaking as someone who has watched most of the games i can confidently say theyre not nearly as good as their record/point differential wld suggest, pretty much the only game they looked really good was vs the spurs, this is mostly due to their bench being trash which is now exacerbated by hayward being out, theyre prob about to take some not great losses, their starting 5 is legit tho (wld be even more so w a starting quality center).......

also the starting 5 w smart instead of hayward just makes more sense (even tho he has been great) theres just not enough shots to go around w kemba jaylen hayward and jayson all out there

they're certainly not the best team in the league but i don't think 8-1 is a top decile outcome for them or anything
