kawhi can just get good at whatever he wants its not a big deal to him

lag∞n, Sunday, 3 November 2019 02:45 (six years ago)

it’s a bit unfair to others

k3vin k., Sunday, 3 November 2019 02:49 (six years ago)

wait did kawhi do to cp3 what the monstars did to MJ?

cp3 assist percentage

2012: 43.8
2013: 46.5
2014: 48.9
2015: 47.4
2016: 52.7
2017: 46.8
2018: 40.9
2019: 39.3
2020: 20.6

k3vin k., Sunday, 3 November 2019 02:52 (six years ago)

o shit

lag∞n, Sunday, 3 November 2019 02:53 (six years ago)

I’m not saying kawhi definitely stole cp3’s talent in a similar way to how the monstars did it but I’m just saying it’s suspicious

k3vin k., Sunday, 3 November 2019 02:59 (six years ago)

hahahaha

Dwight has been giving them some great minutes

(•̪●) (carne asada), Monday, 4 November 2019 18:06 (six years ago)

if he keeps this up it changes their whole outlook

Jonathan Isaac became just the third player in the @NBA since 1983-84 with 13+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5+ assists, 6+ blocked shots and 4+ steals in a single game.

Isaac joins Hakeem Olajuwon (8 times) and Ralph Sampson as the only players to accomplish the feat.#MagicAboveAll

this is awesome

I’m absolutely beside myself with rage over the methodology here. This isn’t a bit, I’m mad. I’m livid

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:22 (six years ago)

LA and New York do NOT have good strip clubs. This is remedial stuff

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:22 (six years ago)

lol I have only been to one strip club in my life when I turned 21 in Vegas

What is the rating criteria?

(•̪●) (carne asada), Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:25 (six years ago)

He basically sorted what the top 10 strip clubs in each city were by amount of google hits and then looked at like yelp ratings

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:31 (six years ago)

source data aside i think it was still pretty funny

(•̪●) (carne asada), Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:37 (six years ago)

I honestly am a bit confused as to how New York and LA ended up with good google ratings

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:37 (six years ago)

And a confounding factor in all this is that Houston is the best

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:38 (six years ago)

bit creeped out by how much you seem to know about strip clubs tbh

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:42 (six years ago)

thank god he doesn't play in my hometown he'd score 70 a night

frogbs, Thursday, 7 November 2019 21:44 (six years ago)

not even yelp ratings, google reviews! i don’t know anyone who has google reviewed anything, much less a strip club.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 7 November 2019 22:18 (six years ago)

Yeah I see google reviews when I use google maps sometimes but they’re always very strange

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 7 November 2019 22:35 (six years ago)

is there s strip club app similar to w33dmaps ?

(•̪●) (carne asada), Thursday, 7 November 2019 22:36 (six years ago)

That’s a good idea... there’s a site called tuscl but you have to pay to read the reviews

Kyrie got 50 in a loss in the first game. you've gotta share those points around.

Graham Kendrick Lamar (cajunsunday), Saturday, 9 November 2019 17:32 (six years ago)

idk what these stats are but it sounds good!

Players exceeding +1.5 OPIPM and DPIPM this year:

Kawhi Leonard
Jayson Tatum

matchup data has Kuzma guarding Siakam for 7 possessions. Siakam shot 7-for-7 in that time, scoring 18

why on earth would you want him fired

Because the Rockets play the ugliest basketball and I want them to implode so maybe I never have to see that offense again.

one month passes...

remember kevin love

Thinking about what Tatum's per game targets are going to be next year and figured 25/8/4. Looked up 25/8/4 seasons for guys under 25 years old.

It's five guys who won an MVP in their career, a 3x scoring champ, Luka Doncic, Kevin Love, and Karl Towns.

The Unofficial NBA Ref Ball Database https://t.co/YuHI7bu7mx

Contains all the fouls and violations called by each referee between 2016 and 2020 (Regular Season + Playoffs)

— llewellyn jean (@owenlhjphillips) December 9, 2020

k3vin k., Thursday, 10 December 2020 07:06 (five years ago)

id be interested to see some analysis of ref stats but it needs to be more thought out than what ive seen elsewhere. im pretty sure refs follow a defined pattern as they move around the floor so the baseline refs will naturally focus more on defensive 3 seconds, crew chiefs probably call more techs etc

micah, Thursday, 10 December 2020 09:26 (five years ago)

youd also assume that if a ref is known for calling a lot of say freedom of movement fouls then the other refs will naturally call fewer of them because they know the first ref can be relied on to make the call, which would make their individual counting stats look off but not lead to a worse outcome for the game. really this database needs advanced stats that adjusts for how each ref team performs
