lol the pivot to tank mode is swift
It continues to pile up: Draymond Green’s left index finger is bandaged up. Says he has a ligament issue. Couldn’t grip the basketball with it. Unsure if he will play tomorrow night. pic.twitter.com/2lIRbievCo— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) November 2, 2019

gsw should trade dlo asap before he demonstrates how little he moves the needle
― micah, Saturday, 2 November 2019 11:23 (six years ago)
all the other playoff contending teams in the west are happy enough to see gsw tanking. it's a tough world out there.
― A is for (Aimless), Saturday, 2 November 2019 16:48 (six years ago)
its v good for 19-20, imo teams on the bubble should make some short-term trades to take advantage of this window. i fully expect gsw to be contenders again next year.
― i'm not a government man; i'm a government, man. (m bison), Saturday, 2 November 2019 16:52 (six years ago)
they might contend, returning to dominating status will take a lot
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 16:58 (six years ago)
best path forward seems to be moving dlo and whatever pick they get for a bunch of guys and hope their core keeps performing/stays healthy
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 16:59 (six years ago)
worst case scenario their pick isnt that good dlo becomes unmovable and they cant stay healthy
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:00 (six years ago)
Draymond is getting significantly worse each year. They need more talent.
― Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:18 (six years ago)
Always possible that they nail next year’s lotto pick.
im not sure if i see that this a bad turn of events for russell's trade value... he's gonna have his hands on the ball every possession and score 1 million ppg. i don't think any team that already liked his game is gonna find much to dissuade themselves if the offense has to fully orbit around him. i don't think losing a bunch of games w/ a glorified d league roster is gonna matter too much.
― J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:18 (six years ago)
if it's true that the wolves are hell bent on getting russell bcuz him and KAT are bffs, the warriors could pick up guys who could actually help them next year. covington would be perfect for them as an igoudala facsimile, and they could def use guys like okogie and layman. culver doesn't look impressive at all really but maybe that looks diff at the end of the season. wolves would prob need to send a pick back or w/e but i think the warriors will be able to figure a trade out.
― J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:22 (six years ago)
Big issue with DAR trade is finding a team that needs a pg badly enough
― Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:23 (six years ago)
It would be nice to see Kerr adapt and change the offense in a way that lets Russell win them some games
― Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:25 (six years ago)
i feel like russell will end up on a team like the charlotte, orlando, detroit, etc the usual suspects that would otherwise never be able to sign another team's young star to a max deal
― J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:27 (six years ago)
it's hard to find a good team that could use him or would have an incredibly compelling case to acquire him aside from the t wolves
― J0rdan S., Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:28 (six years ago)
DAR is clearly a lunatic and a lot of bad teams are gonna be scared off by that
― Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 2 November 2019 17:33 (six years ago)
Btw when do we need to start believing in this Devonte Graham thing
huh, i hadn't been paying attention, might have to watch a hornets game.
in college he seemed like a guy who might stick in the league as a backup, but didn't really have an elite skill. that 3pt % is probably not sustainable.
― circles, Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:33 (six years ago)
feel like in several years when luka has multiple MVPs I’m gonna remember that game last night against lebron
― k3vin k., Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:36 (six years ago)
not sure if the world is ready for a high volume 30% 3pt mvp
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:43 (six years ago)
oh wait i think russ was just mvp lol
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:44 (six years ago)
*luka is actually obvs a very good shooter he just takes awful shots
like a lil stepback is one thing (tho imo still not a good shot, subject to breaking under playoff scrutiny) but stepping back like 5feet is just disaster
*i know hes like 17 years old
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:46 (six years ago)
btw how much better will the nba be if harden has lost his ability to hit his lil fucker dribble dribble dribble stepback
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:48 (six years ago)
what if harden were traded to the celtics
― k3vin k., Saturday, 2 November 2019 18:57 (six years ago)
trying to think of what team i cld become a fan of
― lag∞n, Saturday, 2 November 2019 20:08 (six years ago)
i guess the nuggets makes the most sense
Bro I think it’s time for you to put the Luka doubting on ice for a while
― Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 2 November 2019 21:25 (six years ago)
dlo is hurt lol
― ciderpress, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:07 (six years ago)
Dray torn finger ligament lol

Warriors starters tonight vs Hornets: Ky Bowman, Jordan Poole, Glenn Robinson, Eric Paschall, Willie Cauley-Stein.— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) November 2, 2019
― ciderpress, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:10 (six years ago)
have the warriors been reading pro-stalin propaganda because they are TANKIES
― i'm not a government man; i'm a government, man. (m bison), Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:13 (six years ago)
it's a sprained ankle for dlo i guess
― omar little, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:16 (six years ago)
Making that pick top 20 protected may be Meyers best move so far
― de-mamba mentality (Spottie), Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:17 (six years ago)
the outcome will be more akin to what happened to the Spurs during that aforementioned Robinson injury year but this Warriors team looks like the Bulls of the immediate post-Jordan era (feat. Randy Brown, Ron Harper, Toni Kukoc, and introducing Brent Barry).
― omar little, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:22 (six years ago)
lol, can we get a pic of kerr and bob myers in tank rolling over steph, klay, dray, and dlo?
― circles, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:25 (six years ago)
except the warriors still have their jordan (curry). more like the first retirement jordan just taking a year off to hang out and do other stuff then come back for a three-peat.
― de-mamba mentality (Spottie), Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:32 (six years ago)
i guess the sense of a historically dominant champion being (in this case temporarily) stripped down to skeletal remains with great suddenness is vv reminiscent and more unexpected (pretty much everyone knew the Bulls were going to be in rebuild mode after they won the sixth title). the Warriors are in so much better shape, and the Bulls have been a cursed franchise ever since.
― omar little, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:36 (six years ago)
we were cursed before i dont want another curse.
lets talk about passive aggressive bad vibes from jokic. straight from the kyrie/kd school of vibes here:
After Michael Malone says he wants a more aggressive Nikola Jokic tonight in Orlando, Jokic doesn't attempt a field goal in the first quarter, records 0 rebounds and 0 assists in 8 minutes. Alright then.— Harrison Wind (@HarrisonWind) November 2, 2019

the warriors are going to be walking a very fraught path for a while. every marginal move that they make is going to matter. i don't think they can afford mistakes.
― call all destroyer, Saturday, 2 November 2019 23:43 (six years ago)
jokic just needs to stop being a fucking baby.
Nuggets offense has no flow at all. The ball doesn’t move

this is true. and they are going to be paying through the roof more and more every year. one more bad injury or a steep decline by any of the main dudes could be it. gonna need some luck on their side and hope they can still attract the right cheap free agents plus land on some random draft picks. will be fascinating to see how it unfolds over the next 3-4 seasons. if it goes down in flames then it was a sweet run
― de-mamba mentality (Spottie), Sunday, 3 November 2019 00:25 (six years ago)
Nuggets have something with Michael Porter. Malik Beasley maybe should have taken the contract extension.
― Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 3 November 2019 01:29 (six years ago)
nets just lost to a very shorthanded pistons team
― call all destroyer, Sunday, 3 November 2019 01:32 (six years ago)
