i also think there's an existential question about embiid and how far you can go with a slow post-up center dominating your offense. i guess we'll see.

the sixers are a much better choice than either of the nyc teams and i say this as someone who is required by law to hate philadelphia sports

philly is a fun and singularly weird team i endorse fandom of the sixers

this seems like a fun team. and i do remember my time in philly fondly. and i did grow up mostly in new jersey.

still feels wrong though. my family are very much new yorkers not philadelphians

lol i never really used deadspin for sports coverage. the ringer is ok, the athletic has acquired a lot of talented nba writers, but honestly espn still has the a-team.
