his game is really polished and he plays the way you want a modern guard to play nowadays... and tbh so far i haven't seen the athleticism questions that made him drop in the draft really show up. i think he will prob start to get picked on defensively once teams start really game planning for each other but he plays hard and smart so it makes up for some of the gap in athleticism.

its crazy these days all these super young players just putting up huge scoring number like whatever the fuck

looking at who the heat are playing and they've really managed to change this team despite limited resources over the past couple years. the ceiling is still clear but it's def good management.

i seriously question the sixers decision to keep tobias over jimmy but that aside the trade seems like a win-win for both teams

ya jimmys better also a theoretically a better fit but he didnt really play that good there, simmons and embiid dominate the ball, the move wldve been to keep jimmy and trade simmons

i was watching the end of sixers/hawks last night and both tobias and al looked completely anonymous out there. the sixers are really weird.

yeah it's going to be really tough with zero dynamic guys who can both shoot and drive. i think i heard their o-rating so far ranks well into the 20s.

i think it's sort underplayed in the general nba cultural sphere that the sixers GM is literally elton brand... im not sure why we're supposed to just assume that he knows what he's doing. there's a chance this offseason looks bad in the light

ive been down on the sixers ever since it became clear they were gonna roll out a team without a star guard or wing

they're still going to be one of the best defensive teams if not the best and they're a trade away from fixing a lot of their issues, but it will need to be a smart, ballsy, creative trade

i also think there's an existential question about embiid and how far you can go with a slow post-up center dominating your offense. i guess we'll see.

w the right personnel they cld put him in the pnr much more where he wld be unstoppable
