pre-season has definitely been fun. for me it's the roster reshuffling for almost every roster. i'd forgotten some of the trades and signings. pau gasol on the blazers!

also, the wnba finals have been great. game 5 is on thursday.

i find tyler herro pretty interesting. ppl have questions about his athleticism and ability to finish at the rim and defend at an adequate level buuuut in today's NBA if you can reliably get your shot off like that esp step back threes you can be pretty valuable. even if the off the dribble stuff isn't as easy in real games, spo showed w/ wayne ellington (who was like a marginal NBA player when he got to the heat) that he can really turn a deadly pull up shooter into an asset for his offense. also iirc the predraft advanced ratings from ppl like pelton et al were high on herro and his efficiency potential so that's interesting.

very impressed with d'andre hunter so far. he's gonna be a really good 3&D guy.

hell be solid but still dont think trading up to 4 to pick that kind of player is great

once the hawks drafted sheldon williams at 4 so i'm grateful regrdless

i do not believe in the kd kyrie pairing. it's not better than the kd russ pairing and i dont think their surrounding pieces are as good as those okc teams. plus kd may only be 85% of what he was which wont cut it.

He’s bigger than I thought and seems like a strong rebounder. Considering his injury history I’d rather have him be a stretch 4 than chasing around smaller guys. But I guess long term either he or Grant needs to play the 3 some.
