it's almost impossible to remember a time when Dwight was this purportedly beloved perennial MVP candidate, i can't think of an NBA superstar who fell so far in public perception other than D-Rose and D-Rose had some concrete, legit reasons moreso than Dwight (at least to the public).

true and it was the butt, *but* Rose had this catastrophic series of injuries and it sometimes feels Howard's decline in terms of being a star was strictly driven by other players and organizations putting out whisper campaigns about dad jokes.

A four-team trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers is complete, multiple sources told ESPN on Thursday night.

A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com’s Marc Stein that the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will get Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will get Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.
