lakers situation just seems like its designed to crash and burn

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:17 (six years ago)

The klay signing was the correct move and getting anything for Kd was a smart move as well. Netting a desirable all star guard was a good get! The fit may not work but poly otm they can flip it any time if they have to. Looney and Trill for combined 7 mill per year is great value. They will feel the iggy loss for sure. He and dray were lockstep on defense.

big city slam (Spottie), Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:26 (six years ago)

id love to see a bev - shamet - pg - kawhi - trez lineup

micah, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:28 (six years ago)

clips role player situation is just better all the way up and down the roster. Montrezl is a beast at the 5, pat bev is still that dude, Lou off the bench to be the 2nd unit scoring punch, harkless a 3 and d wing. only thing that’ll hold them back is health, but that’s a lot of teams.

Lakers just got bad vibes in their set up. overcrowded front court, relying on Danny green and Troy Daniels to be the outside shooting they were missing last year. Idk this roster feels like last season when they didn’t make all the big moves they thought they were. too many cooks in the kitchen on the coaching staff too.

hollow your fart (m bison), Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:31 (six years ago)

Obv lakers will be a problem for teams, AD and bron are that good, but I can see them getting derailed in the playoffs .

hollow your fart (m bison), Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:32 (six years ago)

i would trust kawhi and george to be healthier than lebron and brow too

ciderpress, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:37 (six years ago)

all the factional stuff in the laker's front office seems like it will inevitably seep out to the locker room too imo

Clay, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:39 (six years ago)

I know y’all wish that shit for the lakers. The NBA is super weird this year who knows tho

(•̪●) (carne asada), Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:46 (six years ago)

loving the possibility of Jason Kidd running that crew.

omar little, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:47 (six years ago)

I might be crazy but is LeBron James now..... underrated?

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:48 (six years ago)

There are a dozen must-see teams for nba fans, just with all the changes of scenery and fresh rooks and weird energy.

omar little, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:48 (six years ago)

yeah everything before new year's is gonna be totally surreal

Clay, Sunday, 7 July 2019 02:57 (six years ago)

the only must-see team is the boston celtics, the team that plays near my house

ciderpress, Sunday, 7 July 2019 03:12 (six years ago)

Must C

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 7 July 2019 03:20 (six years ago)

AND westbrooks gonna get traded the madness is not even over

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 03:27 (six years ago)

Westbrook may not be traded immediately. OKC has to have some kind of draw to fill the seats, while they are waiting to reload using all those picks they just acquired. Without Westbrook they are in sub-Phoenix territory.

A is for (Aimless), Sunday, 7 July 2019 03:34 (six years ago)

Trade Russ, lose fans, move back to Seattle.

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 7 July 2019 03:40 (six years ago)

otm

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 03:41 (six years ago)

the other thing I was thinking about the lakers and clippers is the lakers could arguably have the 2 best players of those 4 dudes

k3vin k., Sunday, 7 July 2019 04:15 (six years ago)

i would guess they have the 2nd and 3rd best

ciderpress, Sunday, 7 July 2019 04:30 (six years ago)

pg is the worst but the other 3 r tuff to call

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 04:39 (six years ago)

this guy said he had intel that kawhi was gonna be a laker i guess lmao

He’s the nba insider equivalent of that kid who pretended to be a doctor

hollow your fart (m bison), Sunday, 7 July 2019 13:54 (six years ago)

mmm yessss

Rival executives believe the Rockets could trade for Russell Westbrook, per @TheAthletic.

noted Houston Rockets style player

ciderpress, Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:00 (six years ago)

Worth a cp swap why not. Both about the same value at this point.

big city slam (Spottie), Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:03 (six years ago)

if CP is cooked, then yeah. paul is a much better fit for their system, though

k3vin k., Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:07 (six years ago)

wonder what the rox wld have to give up to convince okc to take cp3, a lot prob

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:26 (six years ago)

the knicks seem like a better destination imho

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:39 (six years ago)

Heat remains at forefront of teams linked to Westbrook, and Miami would still have some flexibility even if it takes on his contract: https://t.co/jVq2fVd3TX

— Barry Jackson (@flasportsbuzz) July 7, 2019

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:39 (six years ago)

miami loves big names huh

k3vin k., Sunday, 7 July 2019 16:43 (six years ago)

The Heat could help the Thunder reduce future cap obligations by trading the expiring contracts of Goran Dragic ($19.2 million) and Meyers Leonard ($11.3 million). From a cap perspective, including Justise Winslow ($13 million) would be enough to complete the deal from Miami’s perspective, but that would increase the Thunder’s payroll by nearly $5 million this season.

Attaching Bam Adebayo or Tyler Herro in place of Winslow wouldn’t satisfy cap requirements in this scenario because the Heat would surpass the hard cap that it must play under for a year after acquiring Butler.

Also, the Heat wouldn’t be positioned to send OKC any draft picks for the foreseeable future. OKC acquired Miami’s unprotected 2021 first-round pick and protected 2023 first-round pick in the deal that sent Paul George to the Clippers late Friday night.

a. its funny that okc already has miamis draft picks b. wonder if those expirings + 2 of the young guys mentioned there wld get it done, doesnt seem like much for a recent mvp but the word might be out on russ, gotta think theres teams still in love w him tho

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 20:01 (six years ago)

his prediction of shamet going nuts from deep was something i hadnt thought of but makes sense

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 20:35 (six years ago)

Shamet is already a positive player. Shot 42% from three for a rookie that’s insane. 45% after trade to clippers on 6 attempts.

big city slam (Spottie), Sunday, 7 July 2019 20:38 (six years ago)

yeah his shot is pure and he knows how to get looks

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 20:44 (six years ago)

Clippers roster makes so much more sense than the lakers at this point.

big city slam (Spottie), Sunday, 7 July 2019 20:46 (six years ago)

clippers rotation is insanely good lots of perfect role players

ciderpress, Sunday, 7 July 2019 20:47 (six years ago)

Just remembered the Lakers — reportedly — elected not to trade assets for Paul George when he was with Indiana because they’d just get him in free agency.

Lmao

big city slam (Spottie), Sunday, 7 July 2019 21:00 (six years ago)

Delon Wright 3/29 to mavs

big city slam (Spottie), Sunday, 7 July 2019 21:01 (six years ago)

my favorite tidbit from the Kawhi signing was that he moved the location of his meeting w/Buss and Pelinka so he could be closer to where he was meeting PG after that to discuss the Clippers.

omar little, Sunday, 7 July 2019 21:34 (six years ago)

yeah paul george has ruined 2 lakers offseasons in the past 3 years now

ciderpress, Sunday, 7 July 2019 21:43 (six years ago)

salute

lag∞n, Sunday, 7 July 2019 22:09 (six years ago)

The process of becoming a saint begins after an individual's death.

According to the Vatican's official news service, the new category has five main criteria:

The individual must freely and voluntarily offer their life in the face of "a certain and soon-to-come death"

There must be a "close relation" between "the offering of one's life and the premature death of the one who offers it."

The person must show Christian virtues, at least to an ordinary extent, before and after offering their life.

They must have a "reputation for holiness" at least after their death.

They must have performed a miracle. This is a major difference from the "martyrdom" category, which does not require a miracle.
