yeah whiteside is def not useless esp on an expiring and it did feel like the dame/cj pairing proved itself in these last offs but that the role player situation prob needed to be switched up

no clue which of these teams is much better or worse than the rest

if kawhi does end up on the clippers then add them too

so gs effectively gave up two picks for the right to max dangelo out

basically punting on this season then try to do some trades that build around steph-klay, prob all things considered is their best option, but its not a good one, theyre in a tough spot, carrying two big max contracts with majorly depleted depth makes it not very easy

midseason dray trade seems not out of the question

they should trade dray for more guards

get an all guard team then merge with the sixers and move to montreal

they did start off in the ABA under the name New York Nets

i feel like the warriors took a look at the west and were like, well damn we could still make the finals this year if we replaced klay. and to their credit i guess they did walk to the finals this year w/o KD, so i could understand why they'd be like "let's get d'angelo russell and see what happens"

not that i necessarily agree w that logic but i don't think they're punting on this year

that said steph still one of the best 3-5 players in the nba and draymond is a borderline dominant playoff player so i do think anyone writing the warriors off in this west is selling them short, even if kawhi signs w/ the clips (if he signs w/ the lakers then forget everything i'm saying)

i think the Warriors are going to bandage themselves up for the season w/Russell and then if they get Klay back for the playoffs they might have a real shot depending on how close to 100% he is.

team is gonna be even thinner this year tho

seems like something should be going portland's way in this trade

yeah... it's possible the blazers just made the deal to get out of the final years of both harkless & leonard contracts but it seems like an awfully nice deal for the heat.... that said the blazers have always had a weird affinity for old school centers in the oshey era

yeah i can't account for who/what they can/can't add bcuz their team in relation to the salary cap rn is very confusing to me

seems like theyre pretty much stuck w minimum guys and the tax payer exemption, not great

steph-dray playing a ton of regular season minutes just to get a playoff spot idk idk, feels like the year all their shenanigans catch up w them

Conspiracy Theory: The Ws worked with D Lo to get him in the S&T on a max because the Wolves couldn't get it worked out.

This buys time and locks him on max deal and the Ws and Timberwolves can work it out in December.
