everyone seems really hyped about the Sixers now but idk, I still just don't see it. what did we not just see in the playoffs but the fact that you have to have a guy who can generate buckets? just look at the relative successes and failures in different series of Kawhi, Giannis, Dame, Jimmy, Jamal Murray, and so on. maybe i'm just suffering from recency bias but it seems pretty important!

The Knicks have reached a deal to sign free agent wing Reggie Bullock to a two-year, $21MM contract, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic (via Twitter).

Zach Lowe threw out the Hornets making a play for Wiggins in a column a few days ago and honestly i'm so hopeless at this point that it seemed like a decent idea. that's also why i was on board with the idea here of doing a sign-and-trade for Hayward (ugh, not for Rozier though). Charlotte is so destitute at this point that I think their best bet is to just take fliers on guys with pedigree whose stock is really low and hope a change of scenery works some magic.

its true, by definition they are professionals once they sign those contracts

if im being generous, the only contract i laughed at was bobby portis', and the rest are mostly 2-year deals. randle...could be p good in a lead role, but theyre not gonna win games.

its exponentially a better experience than MSG

no doubt ,it's still going to take a lot to get people to really buy in over there . I hope it does though.

they def do not have a strong fanbase but start fielding some consistently winning teams while the knicks flounder and thatll change

going to arenas (unless you're in a luxury box) pretty much always sucks tbh, getting in and out is a pain in the ass, the layout is an ikea maze, and they gouge you for everything while you're there

tho making it a ~brooklyn~ team was kinda dumb imo

why brooklyn is cool

also its literally where they play also more teams should be named for boroughs

most fans are local to the team why alienate ppl from queens which is 5 miles from where the nets play

i went to a game at barclays and it was by far a better experience than the "td garden"

the riverwalk is a socialist landmark tyvm
