A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 27 June 2019 03:24 (seven years ago)

MYTH: robert "beto" o'rourke is NOT from america's most important strategic, cultural, and hoops city, san antonio texas

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 03:27 (seven years ago)

You mean "El Paso" isn't a Texan code for "San Antonio"?

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 27 June 2019 03:29 (seven years ago)

el paso is closer to california than san antonio BRAH

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 03:30 (seven years ago)

What?! I was never taught this in school.

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 27 June 2019 03:33 (seven years ago)

ESPN story on the Boston Celtics becoming strong frontrunners to sign Charlotte All-Star guard Kemba Walker once free agency opens: https://t.co/csJ3YhWV2Y

old cloud yells at man (voodoo chili), Thursday, 27 June 2019 14:04 (seven years ago)

sounds fun before you realize that brad stevens and kemba were both heavily involved in the 2011 ncaa championship game, the worst basketball game in history.

old cloud yells at man (voodoo chili), Thursday, 27 June 2019 14:04 (seven years ago)

i will never click on a celtics thread.

old cloud yells at man (voodoo chili), Thursday, 27 June 2019 15:38 (seven years ago)

too bad u will never click on the coolest thread

lag∞n, Thursday, 27 June 2019 15:47 (seven years ago)

I guess the Wolves offered Wiggins for Russell and the Nets weirdly said no

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Thursday, 27 June 2019 16:30 (seven years ago)

very strange!

ciderpress, Thursday, 27 June 2019 16:34 (seven years ago)

did they ask him to promise to get better at basketball tho

lag∞n, Thursday, 27 June 2019 16:42 (seven years ago)

yes, but wiggins said "no deal"

lag∞n, Thursday, 27 June 2019 17:15 (seven years ago)

what

Yahoo Sources: Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James gifting new teammate Anthony Davis his No. 23 jersey for the upcoming season. https://t.co/vYIXmcl6c9

lag∞n, Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:41 (seven years ago)

The Lakers are trading Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga and Jemerrio Jones to Wizards as part of the Anthony Davis deal with New Orleans, league sources tell @ZachLowe_NBA and me. Deal clears contracts and creates more cap space for free agency.

lag∞n, Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:43 (seven years ago)

Aw Lebron going back to no. 6?

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:43 (seven years ago)

Lmao Lebron is a genius though, did the number switch so much faster than Kobe, generate even more jersey sales

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:45 (seven years ago)

he will return to "the six" out of respect for new world champion Drake

ciderpress, Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:45 (seven years ago)

man fuck the zombie wizards for enabling that

call all destroyer, Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:54 (seven years ago)

not that mad at them, they need players and probably had to give up very little to get them. lakers are going to have three great players (or two great and two good) and then a bunch of vet min contracts.

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:57 (seven years ago)

oh and their second round pick my god. And kuzma.

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 18:57 (seven years ago)

yeah it's still pretty rough.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 27 June 2019 19:16 (seven years ago)

I get why ppl might favor lal but they’re treading an even finer line than GS did this past year. It might work! But if Lebron gets hurt late in the year they’re not getting far.

hollow your fart (m bison), Thursday, 27 June 2019 19:20 (seven years ago)

Ant Davis had better hold up better physically than he has in the past, because Bron is starting to show signs of wear and tear, and the Lakers will have zero bench to fall back on. That is not how you build a team, imo. (shrugs) But if the Lakers stumble back into SI "This is Going to Be Fun" deja vu, I'm up for that.

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 27 June 2019 19:24 (seven years ago)

I don’t get why people might favor lal

Van Horn Street, Thursday, 27 June 2019 20:46 (seven years ago)

GS has had younger players and more depth which is not saying much, and i could still see them finishing ahead of LAL in the West for example depending on which way the wind blows.

omar little, Thursday, 27 June 2019 20:48 (seven years ago)

Per @stephenasmith, the #Hornets offered Kemba Walker 5 years and around $160 million, which is well shy of the supermax option, and he informed Charlotte he won’t be returning. #Celtics expected to sign the 3-time All-Star. pic.twitter.com/60BACPmUE6

lagoon is a thought leader

hollow your fart (m bison), Friday, 28 June 2019 01:40 (seven years ago)

ive been saying that

lag∞n, Friday, 28 June 2019 01:44 (seven years ago)

soooo the hornets strategy was blind faith that kemba would take a massive hometown discount? interesting. not sure i would have gone in that direction.

call all destroyer, Friday, 28 June 2019 01:57 (seven years ago)

i get it. want to make a good offer but a supermax would saddle them with that team forever.

hollow your fart (m bison), Friday, 28 June 2019 01:59 (seven years ago)

well i mean if this was their offseason scenario they should have traded him a while ago

call all destroyer, Friday, 28 June 2019 02:00 (seven years ago)

i think him making all-nba threw them off. if he doesnt qualify for supermax, then theyd probably offer the regular max.

hollow your fart (m bison), Friday, 28 June 2019 02:03 (seven years ago)

they really shdve traded him at the deadline like they were planning on

lag∞n, Friday, 28 June 2019 02:04 (seven years ago)

supermax causing player movement lol not how it was intended

lag∞n, Friday, 28 June 2019 02:05 (seven years ago)

supermax is a failed policy

hollow your fart (m bison), Friday, 28 June 2019 02:06 (seven years ago)

seriously. it's getting worse by the year.

call all destroyer, Friday, 28 June 2019 02:07 (seven years ago)

very curious to see the number on that kemba contract... it's interesting to me that the celtics are again pursuing a very high money PG when stevens' system makes every PG look amazing

J0rdan S., Friday, 28 June 2019 02:11 (seven years ago)

it's a weird year for free agent point guards though. there aren't really many classic offensive pgs that are available. i think he's by far the best use of their cap space.
