feel like the one thing we learned tonight is the raptors defense is legit

i'm not sure how much that game really taught us... we know the warriors can take a punch, and the raptors role players are not going to play that well again. ppl generally overreact to what happens in game 1s & that felt like a 95th percentile performance by the raps to me

the raps had a good gameplan on defense... nurse seemed to coach a good game. and the iggy injury is problematic. but game 2 is the real test for the raps bcuz going to oakland 1-1 is not really a win overall for them.

Gasol/FVV/Danny/siakim player nearly perfect games. Meanwhile no one on the warriors played very well. Curry got points but they made it really hard and he didn’t have the ball in his hands enough. Kerr gotta tighten up the rotation but that iggy thing may throw a wrench in the whole affair

kawhi wasn't great but he still scored 23 points... siakam and gasol prob won't score 52 total over the next 2 games combined

i just feel like whatever you thought was going to happen before the series is what you should still think is going to happen, unless the iggy injury is serious

i also would probably have made a hedging post about how the raptors got some performances they won't get again but an iguodala injury is just massive

Oh yeah their gameplan and execution were top notch. They did not give they dubs much transition opportunity. Klay seemed to be swallows up by their defense especially.
