Game 6 is gonna be a key one for the Bucks

anyway it seems to me like Bud is doing the same thing that got Kidd fired - running the same play over and over on both ends, even after the opposing team figures out exactly what you're going to do. on one end you watch Giannis go 4 on 1 and fail to draw a foul, on the other you just double whoever has the ball and leave someone open from 3 so you get murdered by VanVleet of all people. this actually worked pretty well against the Celtics but the Raps are better physically and mentally. I still think the Bucks are a (slightly) better team but they've been solved

Milwaukee shot over 8 points better than the Raps and lost by 6. that's uh...kinda impressive

i mean 45%-37%. Raps took 13 more free throws though. can't comment on credibly on this obviously but the reffing seemed to be really awful this game, it's one thing if you let Giannis get hacked but then don't call it so tight on the other end. at one point in the 2nd it seemed like they fucked up 5 straight possessions.

Raptors are exactly where the Leafs were a few weeks ago, which is ominous if you're in Toronto: they have to win Game 6, because I can't see them going into Milwaukee and winning a Game 7. I really wish they'd pass the ball more. For long stretches they seem to revert to what they used to do with DeRozan, which is to give the ball to Kawhi and stand around while he does something. He's obviously much, much better than DeRozan, so he usually does. But how long can they ride that? (They're one game from the finals, I know.) When they do move the ball, they're so much better.

i feel like every time a team has had the chance to really take this series over they’ve laid a big egg. it will make for a nice capital-P Playoff Win for whoever emerges but it has really destroyed my confidence that either of these teams could maybe beat GSW

that makes sense. in some ways the finals would be more interesting if one of these teams was rolling in completely on fire.

i haven't thought through matchups or anything but tend to think that any first-time finals team is going to be in a huge hole against the warriors before the tip of game 1.
