dwight seems obviously better like he was definitely better through age 29 and i can't believe draymond's playstyle will age well into his 30s

i also can't think of draymond as more than a very good role player until i see him on a team that doesn't have 1-2 MVPs warping things

I went back and checked the player model I made during the pre-season and it ranked Giannis as the 19th best player in the NBA. I guess it’s true that all models are wrong!

That poll is pretty entertaining. Some of the anti-dray replies are so dumb they are entertaining. I truly have no idea what people mean when they talk about “role players” and use Dray as an example.

Finally, I miss ILH. I don’t know why I haven’t kept up this year. I’m still watching a ton of basketball and most NBA talk (on Reddit or Twitter or wherever) is compartively shit! Anyway, this has been my favorite post season in forever. I genuinely love all four teams and would be stoked about any combination of finals.

Any combination will most definitely not include the Blazers. They're tapped out. But I love that they made a deep run to the WCF as the lowest of the surviving seeds -- in a playoffs where they were expected to die quietly against OKC in the first round.

I would have voted Dwight except it seems like everyone who ever played with him hated his fucking guts whereas the only teammate who I know hates Draymond is KD and that’s honestly a point in his favor.

If I'm a free agent, I'd rather sign there this year than last year tbh. It's hard to see how losing Johnson or Walton hurts them. They're a mess but the situation is still pretty good.

the biggest selling point as far as I can see is that the warriors and rockets could both plausibly be on their last legs as dominant teams, but then you still have 35 year old lebron (who gets injured now like normal humans), a bunch of young but unproven talent, and a front office that is a complete trash fire

id rather go to the clippers for sure. especially if you want to be the man and not have to worry about dealing with lebron

The fans in LA have been pretty supportive of Magic's ridiculous assault on the front office. I'm sure Pelinka sucks but from what I can tell Magic is the guy who put this years team together that was terrible, demanded full authority on decision making and then barely showed up to work half the time. They're pretty lucky he quit because he's impossible to fire.

Magic has kinda been a weirdo ever since he made his comeback in '95-'96, i mean that in an affectionate kind of way, he's like the Lakers' awkward uncle. He's not a deep deep uncanny valley weirdo like Dwight, of course.
