J0rdan S., Sunday, 12 May 2019 21:48 (seven years ago)

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 May 2019 21:50 (seven years ago)

J0rdan S., Sunday, 12 May 2019 21:52 (seven years ago)

Fetchboy, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:04 (seven years ago)

Oh man I’d live to see a nugs 3 here followed by another dame walk off

nuggets will win the nba playoffs

ciderpress, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:13 (seven years ago)

that is . . . not what i was expecting after the first quarter

mookieproof, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:13 (seven years ago)

I want to cry

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:14 (seven years ago)

Curry v Curry

DJI, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:14 (seven years ago)

kev your boys played an incredible series and obv have a huge future in front of them

Clay, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:15 (seven years ago)

Yeah, it's nuts how well they've done considering their youth.

Fetchboy, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:16 (seven years ago)

that game was a great advertisement for Playoff Experience... nuggs were just a little frenetic and disorganized the final 6 mins of the game. portland wasn’t getting easy shots either but they were playing more calmly and deliberately. just seems like the kind of game the nuggets will win 2 years from now.

J0rdan S., Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:20 (seven years ago)

combined 6-for-45 from three!

mookieproof, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:26 (seven years ago)

Yikes, and now the Blazers won't get more than a day off between games til after game 3. At least they won't be battling altitude.

Fetchboy, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:43 (seven years ago)

I’m really dejected but the playoffs clarified a lot of things for the nuggets:

-Barton can’t be in the 8 man rotation anymore
-Jokic is a playoff go-to guy, superstar, all that
-Gary Harris is back to being an elite defender

In a week I’ll be happy

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 May 2019 22:55 (seven years ago)

Tough loss. Nuggets have a lot to be happy about. Big honey is that dude.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:01 (seven years ago)

was that the first non chalk result

ciderpress, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:01 (seven years ago)

matt otm

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:02 (seven years ago)

would have made weird sense if the entire playoffs had gone chalk after how much parity there was in the regular season

ciderpress, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:02 (seven years ago)

CJ performance was legendary and he was so calm. Evan Turner earned that contract in one game

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:03 (seven years ago)

being so bad that your team ends up in an elimination game and then playing well in that game does not justify a big contract

ciderpress, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:09 (seven years ago)

I was not being serious

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:11 (seven years ago)

sorry

would like to see kawhi go off in this game now

ciderpress, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:12 (seven years ago)

i fully expect philly to have laid down completely by halfway through the third but this series has been so weird i have no concrete expectations

Clay, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:14 (seven years ago)

on pace for a 65-48 final score

Fetchboy, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:15 (seven years ago)

56-48, even.

Fetchboy, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:15 (seven years ago)

CJ is now officially my favorite NBA player.

alpine static, Sunday, 12 May 2019 23:54 (seven years ago)

i haven't been a huge cj fan b/c he doesn't do much other than score but when you score like that in a game 7 you're more or less bulletproof.

call all destroyer, Monday, 13 May 2019 00:13 (seven years ago)

he takes almost exclusively difficult shots and i think that makes him susceptible to empty nights where his shots aren't falling and he isn't giving much else. but in tight playoff games tough shotmaking is very valuable.

J0rdan S., Monday, 13 May 2019 00:17 (seven years ago)

he did get that insane block but it was extremely out of character

Clay, Monday, 13 May 2019 00:25 (seven years ago)

Man phillys half court offense is brutal rn. I’d like to see them at least give jimmy a chance to run the show, it’s worked at times in this series and maybe that would get him untracked.

Evans on Hammond (evol j), Monday, 13 May 2019 00:27 (seven years ago)

yeah that block was a winning play.

i’m rewatching the 4th since i was out earlier. the blazers were just able to stay solid in a game where nobody’s shot was falling. their rebounding and defensive discipline were excellent.

call all destroyer, Monday, 13 May 2019 00:37 (seven years ago)

evan turner was awesome too. for a guy who wasn’t supposed to be playing he made a ton of plays.

this is true and i need to build it into my thinking about him.

-Barton can’t be in the 8 man rotation anymore

― Matt Armstrong, Sunday, May 12, 2019 6:55 PM (one hour ago) Bookmark Flag Post Permalink

i think you could optimistically say he's a guy who never really came back right this year and a healthy offseason will do him good. otoh i think he's on the wrong team. he isn't a 3 and they don't really need his skills or have room for him at the 2.

call all destroyer, Monday, 13 May 2019 00:57 (seven years ago)

barton would be good for like... the kings or someone

J0rdan S., Monday, 13 May 2019 01:16 (seven years ago)

kawhi and ibaka are the only raptors not playing like they already shit their pants

J0rdan S., Monday, 13 May 2019 01:17 (seven years ago)

kawhi and marc w insane PNR defense

J0rdan S., Monday, 13 May 2019 01:18 (seven years ago)

Clay, Monday, 13 May 2019 01:20 (seven years ago)
