The Lakers did not know what they were buying when they signed LeBron. They thought they were just signing another future Hall of Famer who'd drag the franchise back into title contention, not a guy who insists he should run the whole franchise.

they were dumbshits before LeBron and will be dumbshits after, getting him is literally the only good thing they've done in forever.

They're probably doing worse on their own than James could do on his own. This is not a full-throated endorsement of LeBron's GM abilities.

coaching decisions are so funny, like if that ball ricochets off the rim instead of bouncing in, it's a whole different conversation (i don't know enough to say whether he's good or bad, ILH seems down on him)
