Nuggets-Blazers Game 4 was a classic "must win" for both teams. Blazers really needed to find a way to win that one...now they're in big trouble.

Although overall, k3vin otm: Denver is just a better team, and not by a tiny margin.

What’s going on is that the Nuggets fall apart without Jokic but that’s not really on Plumlee and he’s been great alongside Nikola. Long-term that’s still their biggest thing to solve: how to keep the offense functional without Jokic.

think i mentioned upthread that i watched all the blazers scores from one game and plumlee was notably successfully targeted on a number of plays

wait actually it was the spurs series aldridge had a big game and i was checking to see if jokic was getting lit up but actually he was fine and plumdawg was the victim

Jokic strangely and impressive locked Aldridge down a lot

I could see Aldridge being a bad matchup for Plumlee since he’s mostly a rim protector

there were def some plays where a more athletic player wouldve been able to get in the mix where jokic cldnt but yeah hes been good on D, really just generally having an amazing run here

im glad everyones learning that he's the coolest nba player

ilh was ahead of the curve and has been on the jokic wave for a long time

i was the first jokic supporter

let it be known i voted for him in the unicorns poll where he came in last after kat and porzingis and then lagoon dropped him from the poll in the second round for the likes of ben simmons

i just put simmons in there because all of u were in love with him actually

i admit i needed to see jokic have this kind of sustained success for me to believe it.

his playoff run has been incredible. even the conditioning concerns have been m/l answered as he's played a ton of minutes and produced late in games. he's playing like he realizes he's the best player on the court.

zach lowe and jackie macmullan we’re talking on lowe’s pod today about how all the shit jokic has gotten about his defense and his conditioning has always been bullshit. he’s averaging 40 mins per game and putting up better numbers than he does in the regular season. he’s a fucking beast

part of it is prob cause he looks tired and confused all the time
