that 8 seed knicks team made the finals in the lockout season and that was before hoisting gone wild

shorter season means higher variance for seeding though maybe they were good

i think the lockout just made things weird, lot of guys were out of shape not much time to gel and so forth, their roster def wasnt thaat good tho prob better than an 8 seed

well a team cld be good enough to win a couple rounds then only need to get hot for 8 games total or whatever seems doable for like the 4th or 5th best team to make it happen
