the bucks are exploitable, doesn't mean their roster is bad

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 16:49 (seven years ago)

i guess brodgdon is a wild card

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 23 April 2019 16:49 (seven years ago)

if Bledsoe has shaken his cowardly ways than that changes quite a bit. and they are supposed to get brogdan back here soon. they are deep and can try a lot of different lineup things.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 23 April 2019 16:50 (seven years ago)

bledsoe and brogdan def key

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 19:40 (seven years ago)

also who will defend giannis, obvs horf will be primary but who after him last year semi got some burn theyll prob give baynes a shot at bodying him but idk man

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 19:42 (seven years ago)

not giving the bucks liveball turnovers is huge celtics were a low turnover team all season but then indy got a ton of steals off them as they do

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 19:44 (seven years ago)

feel like "making teams execute in the halfcourt" is so huge in the playoffs, but its even huger when they have a player whos unstoppable on the break

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 19:45 (seven years ago)

idk if u can really just let giannis get his and try to guard the rest of the team cause hell just foul yr whole team out if u dont try to take the ball out of his hands at least some of the time

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 19:47 (seven years ago)

gotta switch up yr looks try to keep him uncomfortable

Giannis' halfcourt scoring efficiency:

vs. Man: 92nd percentile
vs. Zone: 29th percentile

The Celtics played the Bucks 3 times this year:

With Horford: 4-point home win, 1-point road loss

Without Horford: 13-point home loss

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:05 (seven years ago)

celtics r so bad w/o horf lol

Al Horford quietly had a monster impact against the Pacers (as his on/off splits confirm: +15.9 net rating on court, -16.6 off)

Now, the Celtics are likely going to lean even heavier on him in Round 2.https://t.co/fhC7OAAvi6

didnt really seem like he played very well

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:18 (seven years ago)

yeah he didnt even really

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:19 (seven years ago)

the heat had defended giannis really well for a few seasons until one game recently he put up like 45 and that was the end of that

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:27 (seven years ago)

feel like Celts would've lost in 5 to Milwaukee last year if not for Horford. dude give 'em fits on both ends.

basically for Boston to win it's gonna come down to Big Al + lots of 3s. you can beat the Bucks that way, but you also have to be a little lucky. last year the home team won every game so not having that advantage could be big too.

frogbs, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:28 (seven years ago)

yeah celtics are gonna need to hit their threes bigtime

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:29 (seven years ago)

and is it gonna be kumbayakyrie when they lose game(s) or are they gonna get weirddadkyrie. we just dont know. the bucks seem mentally stable this season which is a + for sure

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:31 (seven years ago)

no hoisty no trophy nuff said

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:35 (seven years ago)

i do think there's lots of unpredictable mental and chemistry stuff that could come into play on both sides depending on how this series goes

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:37 (seven years ago)

it is generally best to pick the better teams in playoff matchups imo

k3vin k., Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:40 (seven years ago)

which one of these teams is better

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 23 April 2019 20:42 (seven years ago)

imo the one that led the conference wire to wire and has the best player in the series

k3vin k., Tuesday, 23 April 2019 23:24 (seven years ago)

lowry is ballin

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 23 April 2019 23:27 (seven years ago)

the magic appear ready for summer to begin. vooch 0/4 and 3 fouls in the first q good job good effort. averaging 12/8/3 on 38/18 shooting for these playoffs.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 23 April 2019 23:39 (seven years ago)

he's a FA and i have no idea what a fair value is for his contract

~13m a/y supersub

lag∞n, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:05 (seven years ago)

That would be a great deal but probably closer to 3/50 is realistic. Teams might pause a bit after this playoff performance tho.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:10 (seven years ago)

he was an all-star this year, that's gotta be worth... something

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:20 (seven years ago)

centers who dont play D idk

lag∞n, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:28 (seven years ago)

yeah he had his best season this year, this was his first real playoff appearance though which didn't go so well

ciderpress, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:28 (seven years ago)

his defense was improved under clifford still not above average for a center though

ciderpress, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:31 (seven years ago)

put him on the lakers what could go wrong

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:32 (seven years ago)

guess the nets don't wanna play anymore either

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:33 (seven years ago)

they both missed their chance when they couldnt win a home game after stealing a road one

ciderpress, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:41 (seven years ago)

rip My Nets

mookieproof, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 00:54 (seven years ago)

be the 2 chainz you want 2 see in the world (m bison), Wednesday, 24 April 2019 02:41 (seven years ago)

lillard has 34 pts with 1:42 left in the 2nd

sknybrg, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:36 (seven years ago)

it's really and very specifically nuts what hes doing

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:37 (seven years ago)

i can't tell if the thunder should be concerned they blew their lead or if blazers should be concerned that dame has scored 34 and they're only up 3

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:39 (seven years ago)

really good game so far

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:41 (seven years ago)

russ still taking early shot clock pull up 30 footers is just unbelievable

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:41 (seven years ago)

weird game for sure. george started off hot then foul trouble. dame on fire the entire half. nobody else seems effective so far.

sknybrg, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:43 (seven years ago)

last two blazer wins they came back from early to take the lead late in the half and then dominated the second half as russ came out way too emotional and made mistake after mistake so idk this is kinda becoming a pattern

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:44 (seven years ago)

russ had to start shooting too much once PG sat but before that he was playing a good game

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:45 (seven years ago)

feels weird to say but if portland hadn't lucked into kanter late in the season they'd be absolutely boned

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 03:47 (seven years ago)

Kanter is really great at two things and if you can’t make him pay on the defensive end then he’s a positive player

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Wednesday, 24 April 2019 04:01 (seven years ago)

The Loves logo on these unis is an absolute travesty btw

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Wednesday, 24 April 2019 04:02 (seven years ago)

i mean without kanter out there it's 48 minutes of meyers and collins getting their faces smashed in by khal drogo

Clay, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 04:04 (seven years ago)

Wow Lillard I mean you just love to see it
