looks like that was the second most points scored by a team in the second half of an NBA playoff game, third most ever in either half

omar little, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 05:32 (seven years ago)

It was 94-63 with 7:31 left in the third quarter. Clippers outscored the Warriors 72-37 over the final 19.5 minutes. Seventy-two points in less than 20 minutes.

on the champs home court in the playoffs, crazy

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 13:15 (seven years ago)

game winning shot came on a rookie to rookie assist too

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 13:17 (seven years ago)

I'm not even gonna beat myself up over missing it because I would've been awake until damn near 1:30 I think if I'd stayed up.

don't think GS is in any trouble in this series of course but definitely in favor of anything that might make them exert themselves more than they'd like before having to play Houston.

wow what the hell

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 13:27 (seven years ago)

watched the comeback part of the game this morning, clippers did most of their damage v a stephless lineup in the third then kinda chipped away the rest of the way, didnt have a lead til the final min

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 16:00 (seven years ago)

The Clippers’ comeback win was UNBELIEVABLE 👏

🔹 Down 31 points with 7:31 left in the 3rd
🔹 0.01% win probability in the 3rd
🔹 72-37 run to close out the game

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 16:06 (seven years ago)

they dont really have the talent necessary but they have the right kind of team to beat the dubs, lot of chippy guys to throw at them make them work/think/etc

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 16:09 (seven years ago)

the whole guard kd w pat bev is pretty bizarre like he scored 21points on 8 shots but also had 9 turnovers, felt like it def disrupted the warriors flow

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 16:10 (seven years ago)

didnt doc used to throw CP at him? works cos a low center of gravity and KD has a high dribble that the short dudes can poke at. KD just needs to turn and shoot but he's looking to pass these days.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 16:12 (seven years ago)

yeah he shd be able to kill that matchup but it does seem like it unnerves him

yeah I remember it too...was it CP? for some reason I’m thinking it was a different matchup but that might be right

Warriors All-Star DeMarcus Cousins has been diagnosed with a torn left quad, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Devastating for Cousins, who had MRI early this morning.

im pretty sure it was CP.

But really its just up to KD if he wants to dominate or not. no one can stop him but his own damn self.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 17:52 (seven years ago)

7 of the last 10 games KD has taken less than 10 shots

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:11 (seven years ago)

feel bad for Boogie as a person but I definitely won't miss watching him pout and throw hissy fits every 2.4 seconds like he's done his whole career.

Evans on Hammond (evol j), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:15 (seven years ago)

he just needs to settle into nba middle age on the new york knicks where im sure everything will be chill and cool

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:17 (seven years ago)

Does having another big injury open up a path for DMC to stay with the Warriors if KD leaves? I don't understand any of the complicated NBA contract rules.

DJI, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:20 (seven years ago)

feel bad for boogie for sure... but yeah he def wasnt an ideal fit with the warriors. he was always an insurance policy and couldve been useful during a couple potential matchups, but not the most important matchups. losing depth at that position where they already lost damian jones and arent getting anything from jordan bell is not good tho. the bogut signing is looking like a very savvy move now. he looks really good out there.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:24 (seven years ago)

yeah theres a chance that no one offers boogie much of anything and the warriors can sign him for 20% more than what they are paying him this year. they coudl do that if KD stays as well probably. just depends on what he can get out there. i doubt anyone is offering more than a 2 year deal for him

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:25 (seven years ago)

have to think someone will offer him more than the dubs can

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:26 (seven years ago)

who really needs a (hobbled) veteran starting center tho?

warriors
lakers?
pelicans lol
raptors?

there's going to be plenty of money and plenty of disappointed teams.

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:42 (seven years ago)

hard to believe Boogie is only 28..he looks like an old man out here

frogbs, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:44 (seven years ago)

he's always been slow footed and below the rim but its more pronounced trying to run up and down w the splash bros and such

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 18:52 (seven years ago)

Weirdly at peace with Cousins' injury given the chance that it will lighten the asterisk if they win the chip.

I liked having him on the team and would be cool with bringing him back after Durant splits. But I agree that the team looks better with Kevon in there.

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 20:47 (seven years ago)

don't really think boogie contributed to the asterisk, they were already past anyone who cares about that's threshold without him

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 21:04 (seven years ago)

also he was not good

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 April 2019 21:12 (seven years ago)

he kind of killed the nuggets so I’m using that as a silver lining should things get that far

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 April 2019 21:41 (seven years ago)

yeah he def took that matchup personally and could actually do something about it.

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 16 April 2019 21:44 (seven years ago)

congrats to kyle lowry for scoring a hoop
