21 seasons all with one team. Not going to happen again any time soon.

Current candidates:
16 Seasons Udonis Haslem
12 Seasons Mike Conley
11 Seasons Russell Westbrook
10 Seasons Stephen Curry

Not sure if Haslem has five more seasons in him, so might have to wait at least a decade.

sports radio in LA this morning was wild and sad and dumb. love too defend your failed president of basketball operations who quit because his ego couldn't handle it after one season.

Curry is the only one that has a shot imo, but he started when he was 21 so it's a long shot. xp

There just aren't many 21 season careers to begin with.

damn way to go Kevin Willis

feel like this sort of thing is way more impressive when it isn't a perennial allstar

I’m kind of amazed that the nuggets’diabolical tanking plan is one game away from fruition

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 10 April 2019 19:58 (seven years ago)

see!?

k3vin k., Wednesday, 10 April 2019 20:14 (seven years ago)

its cool when u can combine the playoffs and tanking

lag∞n, Wednesday, 10 April 2019 20:27 (seven years ago)

The fact that they needed 2 buzzer beater threes in last night’s games to do it makes it feel really wild and kind of historic

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 10 April 2019 21:35 (seven years ago)

yes when I checked the scores this morning I actually gasped

I am here at AT&T centre and I am surrounded by Dirk fans. This is gonna be a fun night!

Marcus Smart has suffered a torn oblique on left side and could be sidelined for the first two rounds of the playoffs, league source tells ESPN.

Dray is out tonight so I guess he stayed under 16 Ts for the year!

DJI, Thursday, 11 April 2019 00:39 (seven years ago)

Think kd got his 16th tho lol

The team is still assessing Johnson's decision, but general manager Rob Pelinka will stay in his job, and, if anything, his power will grow, sources told Shelburne.

given how well-known it is that she talks to ramona, "sources" probably equals jeanie buss. has jeanie noticed that everyone in the league seems to hate rob pelinka?

also seeing bob myers rumors starting to appear. i'm not in any way convinced that bob myers is anything special so uh sure, go for it.

Hard to know how good of a gm he is when he has the two best gms in the league ahead of him in the pecking order (steph/dray)

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:14 (seven years ago)

he just hasn't really had to do much in the way of big things and i don't think his marginal decisions have been great.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:17 (seven years ago)

wait, why the hell are the blazers sitting all their dudes?

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:44 (seven years ago)

what the fuck

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:45 (seven years ago)

do they have seeding to play for? sorry, i haven't been on top of what west seeds are still in play.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:47 (seven years ago)

I think to avoid okc in rd 1, thunder swept Portland this year

Clay, Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:47 (seven years ago)

of course maybe thinking past round one and smashing into the dubs in the semis would occur to these guys but the brass is traumatized by the pelicans series last spring

Clay, Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:48 (seven years ago)

Lol this is all so insane and honestly the blazers and nuggets should lose second round picks for this

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:54 (seven years ago)

I am outraged

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:55 (seven years ago)

do they have seeding to play for? sorry, i haven't been on top of what west seeds are still in play.

― call all destroyer, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 10:47 PM (eight minutes ago)

if they win and the nuggets win, they get the 3 seed

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 April 2019 02:57 (seven years ago)

eh whatever, a decent team should beat the thunder

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:00 (seven years ago)

yeah that's weird to me, the jazz are a much better team

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:02 (seven years ago)

also you have to consider that russ might be low on batteries as he tends to be this time of year

Clay, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:05 (seven years ago)

but i am telling you that series last year severely fucked people up

Clay, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:07 (seven years ago)

even though the blazers have a confusing ownership situation it's reasonable to think that if they go down in the first round as a high seed this year some people are getting fired

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:10 (seven years ago)

i guess there's an injury excuse but still it would be rough

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:14 (seven years ago)

there's also the thing of, like, what do you even do with this roster if their main gear is "getting crushed in the first round every year"

Clay, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:15 (seven years ago)

If Stotts is behind this, I trust his judgment. If it is any other part of management, they should butt out.

honestly the blazers and nuggets should lose second round picks for this

Nah. If there is ever a moment to sit your starters, it is the last game of the season, when you've clinched home court and your eventual seeding is not in your own hands. Injuries happen, you know, like what just happened to Nurkic and to Smart. This was a legit decision for legit reasons.

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:28 (seven years ago)

blazers gave up 87 to the kings in the first half

sknybrg, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:36 (seven years ago)

it's one-two-three, what are we fightin' for?
Don't ask me I don't give a damn.
Next stop is fourth seed in the offs.

Most of the blazer players getting minutes tonight have had limited minutes this season. This is their chance to play before being shut down for the year. Giving up 87 in a half should give them something to think about going forward.

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:42 (seven years ago)

Oh my god is this blazers state media on here

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:53 (seven years ago)

if they dont lose a 2nd round pick, they should spot the opponent 10 points in game 1

you know who deserves sitewide mod privileges? (m bison), Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:56 (seven years ago)

spurs dirk tribute video was really nice. seeing dirk’s reaction made me a little misty

sknybrg, Thursday, 11 April 2019 03:57 (seven years ago)

i agree that this is awful and stupid and mostly the front office are terrible cowards xp
