looking for any semblance of what you were on about and found nothing

OK. But I took a look at the box score a minute ago. He played all 40 minutes. He had off-the-chart offensive numbers: 11-14, with 1-2 from 3pt. Also 3 blocks. Exciting stuff!

But he only took one FT, had 1 assist, and for a big man 6 rebounds in 40 minutes is not exactly bad, but not an indicator of extraordinary effort. This kind of supports my impression that he's a human highlight machine, but between highlights he was not exactly dogging it last night, but not really putting out his full effort either - which is what I thought I said to begin with.

1) he wasn't getting fouled because the defense was just getting out of the way once he was in position.
2) in the 6 minutes i watched he tossed a couple of great passes to open shooters, but they missed because the rest of the team sucks. saw a dude shoot an airball *past* the basket on a corner 3.

he didn't seem to be in great rebounding position at times but i'm not sure it was an effort issue.

playing all 40 minutes is pretty taxing I’m sure...

if he were *really* trying he'd have had more than three fouls, smh

Zion has "epochal star player" written all over him as a freshman as much as Wilt, Kareem, Shaq, or Lebron (had he ever gone to college).

Zion's college team lost today. Before that college team plays any more games, Zion will enter the NBA draft and be drafted at #1. Then, come late October, if he's healthy, he'll begin to play NBA games for his new team.

hes gonna average like 20-7-3 on 60% shooting but prob miss some games cause hes not in great shape and has never experienced "the rigors of an nba season"

coudl see him leading the league in steals hunting those fast break dunks

woudl think he'd be able to average 1.5 blocks per game pretty easy but he may need to stay planted NBA players are smart at drawing fouls.

The downside risk is vanishingly small compared to the upside potential. I'd take him first for fantasy, higher than Kawhi rn, if only because Kawhi regulates his output and will sit out regular season games to give his body a break. Zion is young, durable, and eager to dazzle the league every night.

im thinking 2nd/3rd round but no way i draft him over kawhi. depends where my draft position is but its pretty rare a rookie ends up in the top 40 fantasy rankings after a full season

Shaq had 3 yrs of NCAA experience leading up to his rookie year

I doubt he'll average 13.5 rebounds, but Zion is going to get the ball in his hands nearly every time down the floor and his point production will be high. With his off-the-charts athleticism his steals and blocks will be high, too. Rookie or not, the Pellies will be built around him from day one.

21/10/5 would be enough for ROY and realistic i think depending on how beat up he gets

If they play Zion more than 35 minutes per game then they are incompetent
