Looking forward to seeing our favorite players showing us their sick skills. Hoisting, dunking, breaking ankles, things of that nature.

Fetchboy, Monday, 18 March 2019 17:47 (seven years ago)

those are the fundamentals right there

I watched all of bucks sixers last nite

Giannis just looks like the dad playing with the five year olds in the driveway and dunking just because

It Is really full young Shaq vibes with him only it’s like alien limbs instead of a mountain of beef (both extremely useful in basketting)

I still get surprised by some of his dunks. "oh nice move Giannis, that'll surely result in a soft lil layup, maybe an underhand flip. it's a shame you didn't start that move closer to the hoop plus there's a big man in your path, but a layup or short floater is still 2 points, job well done"

lol totally

lag∞n, Monday, 18 March 2019 20:38 (seven years ago)

yeah, he did one of those in embiid's face yesterday that was just ludicrous. that extra extension he gets often seems like it's done with post production cgi.

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Monday, 18 March 2019 20:56 (seven years ago)

wait we have a pacers fan here?

ciderpress, Monday, 18 March 2019 23:23 (seven years ago)

iirc compupost likes the pacers, maybe micah too?

I wish Tatum would drive into defender’s chests instead of constantly trying to slither past. He should be shooting 8-10 FTs a game.

curry man. started by going like 0/6 all shots halfway down then out but then hits an impossible scoop lefty layup then heaves a 3/4 court shot to beat the 1st q buzzer and banks it home

k3vin k., Tuesday, 19 March 2019 01:51 (seven years ago)

it actually didnt count since youtubetv will not allow me to watch nuggets games, in fact the nuggets arent a real team

lag∞n, Tuesday, 19 March 2019 02:27 (seven years ago)

you know who deserves sitewide mod privileges? (m bison), Tuesday, 19 March 2019 02:28 (seven years ago)

golden state and denver now tied for first in the west. I really would just love to dodge the rockets or jazz for as deep in the offs as possible

k3vin k., Tuesday, 19 March 2019 02:29 (seven years ago)

Spurs are ridiculous right now. I had figured the streak would end tonight. props to Pop for turning this team around.

omar little, Tuesday, 19 March 2019 03:03 (seven years ago)

gotta tip the cap to demar for that shot over klay

but I can't let Trae do it I got Huerter on my mind (Spottie), Tuesday, 19 March 2019 03:04 (seven years ago)

reasons why spurs are good now:
(1) i rly feel like cutting pau was addition by subtraction. he wasnt getting a lot of minutes anyway, but it has boosted jakob poeltl's play since he's been added to the starting lineup. i was initially skeptical of a trad two-big lineup, but they have made it work on offense by stretching LA to the 3 pt line where he satarted to hit a couple. and defensively, poeltl and LA are juuuust agile enough against most starting units that they can make it work against opposing frontcourts.
(2) demar was in a baaaaad slump in january. he got some time to rest and it's paid off big time. he's been cutting to the basket a lot more which is getting him to the FT line. when he cuts, he gets passes to open outside shooters. he's hitting some tough midrange shots again, too, and he's become a decent enough defender! no one will mistake him for 2017 kawhi, but he gets in passing lanes and creates fastbreaks off steals.
(4) their core 9 guys are all finally healthy. this is white-forbes-derozan-aldridge-poeltl starting and mills, belinelli, bertans, and gay off the bench. gay has been able to pick apart second units off the bench instead of getting third option scraps as the starting PF.
(5) derrick fuckin white.

(3) pop

k3vin k., Tuesday, 19 March 2019 03:11 (seven years ago)

clinched 22nd consecutive winning season, seems like it’ll be 22 in a row for the playoffs too.

omar little, Tuesday, 19 March 2019 03:36 (seven years ago)

yeah the 8 teams are set, seeding of 3-7 could change wildly tho

k3vin k., Tuesday, 19 March 2019 03:39 (seven years ago)

my god that trade with the lakers was such a heist

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 20 March 2019 04:28 (seven years ago)

other than getting lebron, feel like you can make the case that the lakers have been one of the worst franchises in the league for like the last 6 years

you know who deserves sitewide mod privileges? (m bison), Wednesday, 20 March 2019 04:29 (seven years ago)

fox was roasting him at the other end but russell was getting to the rim with like 3 guys on him
