his high scoring games occasionally have a "make a wish" feel to them but I think the fact that he pushes his boundaries in the midst of that Phoenix dumpster fire is somewhat admirable. I mean its not like he's doing it inefficiently

I never would have noticed it if Deadspin hadn't run a story about it but Jimmer basically shot Booker out of a chance at 60 points during the first of those two 50 spots, went like 1-10 or something in limited minutes. hey, shooters shoot, though I'm pretty sure Jimmer thinks he's getting paid per FGA.

my takeaway this year is that counting stats just mean a lot less now.

'book/lavine is averaging 27!' teams trash tho.

'harden is averaging 37!' and no one wants to year hardens bc his game is dull

bad take. lavine isn't averaging anything close to 27 a game and booker's numbers overall are great. and he's 22.
