ciderpress, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 16:33 (seven years ago)

thon had been wanting a trade.... stanley johnson is not good tho

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 16:33 (seven years ago)

coach bud never seemed to be into thon but i think he still has more to offer than stanley johnson.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 16:34 (seven years ago)

both guys seemed to need a change of scenery just seems like a lateral swap to me.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 17:34 (seven years ago)

Tobias seems great for the sixers. Part of the issue is that their coach is so bad but it should result in fewer idiotic possessions where embiid catapults 30 foot bricks

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 18:52 (seven years ago)

The Gasol/Conley stuff is really interesting to me

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 18:53 (seven years ago)

what stuff?

k3vin k., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 19:02 (seven years ago)

The Durant thing is getting weird. He hasnt talked to the media since the Porzingis trade. Ethan wrote a thing about it
https://theathletic.com/802440/2019/02/05/silent-star-on-the-presumed-warriors-exit-of-kevin-durant/

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 19:14 (seven years ago)

It’s possible that Durant is just engaged in the Schultz 2020 campaign and doesn’t have time for media rn

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 19:18 (seven years ago)

lol

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 19:25 (seven years ago)

need more trades

k3vin k., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:16 (seven years ago)

So I guess KD for AD is happening after all.

Fetchboy, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:21 (seven years ago)

The Rockets have discussed trading Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss, and a Draft Pick to the Grizzlies for JaMychal Green and Garrett Temple

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:27 (seven years ago)

http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/25894907/nba-all-star-game-2019-draft-your-own-team-lebron-giannis

this is fun. I chose giannis and picked first and crushed lebron's meager band of mercenaries

k3vin k., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:29 (seven years ago)

lol awesome. same

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:36 (seven years ago)

haha nice. i won 184-134.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:37 (seven years ago)

interesting

Miami is nearing a deal to send guard Tyler Johnson to Phoenix, league sources tell ESPN.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:40 (seven years ago)

choosing first really isn't fair because whoever chooses second gets kemba and dirk lol

k3vin k., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:41 (seven years ago)

is tyler johnson a pg?

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:42 (seven years ago)

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:43 (seven years ago)

lol tyler johnson gets a 15% trade bonus around 1 milli. his agent should get all of that for getting him the deal he's on.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:48 (seven years ago)

waiting for terms...easiest way to make it work is r. anderson and some draft compensation.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 20:52 (seven years ago)

old tweet ha

I did not ask for the LEBRON bandwagon

John Gambadoro
@Gambo987

So to sum up Tyler Johnson and Wayne Ellington to the Suns for Ryan Anderson. There are no picks involved in this trade.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 21:24 (seven years ago)

so miami saves a bunch of luxury tax and that’s it.

good work by phoenix.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 21:39 (seven years ago)

yeah an im sure they can flip Ellington for a 2nd or something plenty of playoff teams need shooting

John Gambadoro@Gambo987

The Suns would have had to waive and stretch Ryan Anderson and if they didn't sign a free agent would have likely had dead money on the cap. Now they have a 19 million expiring contract that puts them in a better position to make a major trade if presented next year.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 21:42 (seven years ago)

i feel conflicted this trade deadline on the one hand yes i want trades but on the other no i dont want anthony davis to be traded which makes me feel like i cant fully root for trades in general

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:32 (seven years ago)

homerism got you down. i feel that.

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:35 (seven years ago)

its tough out there

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:36 (seven years ago)

re the philly trade they really need to "hit a home run" on the buyout market like they did last year to make it work their bench is just such garbage, and theres the issue of incorporating another guy who need touches but harris is the jack of all trades type who should be able to fit in a lil easier than a ball dominant player like say jimmy butler, if the dominos do fall right i cld see them making the finals, the dominos prob wont tho

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:37 (seven years ago)

@ShamsCharania: The Washington Wizards are sending Otto Porter to the Chicago Bulls for Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @...

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:37 (seven years ago)

trades

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:38 (seven years ago)

not really sure what to make of that one

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:42 (seven years ago)

basically dumped otto for cap relief. not sure what the bulls are doing. the tank is on for the wiz

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:45 (seven years ago)

wiz dumping salary when the $30m ruptured achilles john wall is about to come online is perfectly tragic

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:47 (seven years ago)

wonder if they got any offers for wall earlier when it was rumored he was on the market

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:47 (seven years ago)

they'll get insurance relief for that one next season right?

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:47 (seven years ago)

yeah prob might be able to get some sort of exemption if hes gonna miss he whole season too

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:49 (seven years ago)

beal on the move could be VERY interesting tho. would love to see him out west and/or on a functional team

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:52 (seven years ago)

yeah he is very good

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 00:55 (seven years ago)

wiz have an 8.5m exception

Houston, Cleveland and Sacramento completing a three-way deal that will send Iman Shumpert to the Rockets, league sources tell ESPN.

Cleveland will send Alec Burks to the Kings, and Rockets send Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss and a protected first to Cavaliers, sources tell ESPN.

M Chriss had his trade demands heard apparently

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 01:03 (seven years ago)

last night watching celtics-cavs i thought to myself alec burks seems like a guy who shd be traded lol

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 01:05 (seven years ago)

def a who he play for candidate for years to come

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 7 February 2019 01:09 (seven years ago)

:(

Bobby Portis just left the United Center. All he had with him was a small Louis Vuitton backpack on his back, a pair of shoes and a Bulls jersey. He looked shellshocked.

— Darnell Mayberry (@DarnellMayberry) February 7, 2019

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 01:11 (seven years ago)

wiz did what they had to do. i have no idea why the bulls want otto porter.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 7 February 2019 01:12 (seven years ago)

trades and fury signifying nothing

Cleveland will send Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin to the Rockets in the three-way deal, league source tells ESPN. Cavaliers acquired those two guards in Sunday's trade with Portland that sent Rodney Hood to the Blazers.

— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 7, 2019

lag∞n, Thursday, 7 February 2019 01:18 (seven years ago)

yup, that's a lot of fringey guys on the move
