Lebrons worst loss. If they don’t get AD then we may have a playoffs without lebron.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 04:18 (seven years ago)

Lebron is max messy drama rn lmao

The Lakers lost by 42 points tonight and things are clearly tumultuous in the locker room, yet LeBron just posted this on Instagram... pic.twitter.com/yEMVI502Vk

Also the lakers traded someone I’ve never heard of for Reggie Bullock who automatically becomes the best shooter on the team

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:03 (seven years ago)

feel like lebron needs to face himself as a person who went to the lakers with a bad plan

lag∞n, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:03 (seven years ago)

The plan was kinda ok but then they signed/added only knuckleheads who can’t shoot. And clearly he hates dealing with young guys and refuses to be patient.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:13 (seven years ago)

idk kinda think he got rolled by magic

lag∞n, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:16 (seven years ago)

Seven of his teammates are closer in age to his son than to him.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:20 (seven years ago)

Not to mention his coach was in his draft class.

Fetchboy, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:21 (seven years ago)

It's all weird. And I'm happy about it.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:22 (seven years ago)

I think he was going to LA no matter who the gm was. Magic a helluva salesman tho obv.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:22 (seven years ago)

lebron putting up that thing on instagram is basically the "posting just to be petty" meme come to life

Clay, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:23 (seven years ago)

Magic def (publicly) promised another star FA last summer tho. Paul George’s choice looks better every day.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:24 (seven years ago)

feel like maybe magic and bron are on the same side of a cultural divide

lag∞n, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 05:27 (seven years ago)

feel like lebron needs to face himself as a person who went to the lakers with a bad plan

it would really be a sort of justice if lebron missed the playoffs imo as his punishment for this corny private equity third act of his career, yeah I said it

k3vin k., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 06:28 (seven years ago)

yeah i pretty much agree

lag∞n, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 06:29 (seven years ago)

love 2 beat la

micah, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 06:38 (seven years ago)

Kev otm.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 06:40 (seven years ago)

yeah no sympathy if you can't win enough games to make it, though magic is presumably also responsible, for picking out that miserable and uncomplementary set of vets to sign after lebron was on board. bron and role players should be able to make the offs

Sources: Clippers and Sixers have agreed to trade Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, Mike Scott for Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, 2020 first-rounder, 2021 unprotected 1st via Miami and two second rounders.

— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 6, 2019

damn

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:23 (seven years ago)

elton brand is insane!

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:23 (seven years ago)

simmons-redick-jimmy-tobias-embiid is kind of a ridiculous line up but still... shamet is a first round rookie so they essentially traded 5 picks for tobias harris!

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:25 (seven years ago)

also those are basically their only players

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:28 (seven years ago)

for a half season of tobias harris

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:29 (seven years ago)

why are the sixers acting as if their team is going to implode if they don't win the championship this season

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:29 (seven years ago)

this trade is completely insane? i kinda feel bad for sixers fans

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:30 (seven years ago)

the crash landing from hinkie to colangelo to elton brand has been harsh

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:30 (seven years ago)

thats 4 all star level players in the starting lineup. probably all brand has in his sights.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:32 (seven years ago)

warriors brass shoulda never let jerry west go

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:36 (seven years ago)

damn that's weird

ciderpress, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:36 (seven years ago)

it's true but there's also diminishing returns at a certain point. not only are you trading 2 first round picks for a half season of tobias harris, you're trading 2 first round picks for a half season of tobias harris on a team where he has to share the ball with jimmy butler, joel embiid and ben simmons

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:37 (seven years ago)

how is this a real trade

Jeff Bathos (symsymsym), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:39 (seven years ago)

yeah and jimmy is still figuring out how to fit in... and now they add another new major piece.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:39 (seven years ago)

any way you slice it between the four of them you're diverting the ball away from a player you've heavily invested in be it in draft capital, trade capital, salary whatever. maybe ben simmons' shots go away but then you've turned your first overall pick who is an all star into a glorified version of mbah a moute.

and that's to say nothing of the other 8 guys on the team who might want to shoot the ball from time to time

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:44 (seven years ago)

plz gimme the boban embiid lineup I crave

Clay, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:52 (seven years ago)

not too worried about shot distribution. this allows them some flexibilty with lineups and having tobias and jj will open things up for simmons and embiid to work.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:54 (seven years ago)

clippers punting the season means the pathway for bron (or the kings/wolves) is a little easier

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:55 (seven years ago)

Rachel Nichols
@Rachel__Nichols

Wow is Tobias Harris a good fit for the Sixers.
Also seems relevant: the Clippers' first-round pick this year is supposed to go to Boston...unless the Clippers don't make the playoffs.

marcos smart (Spottie), Wednesday, 6 February 2019 07:57 (seven years ago)

The Sixers are budgeting to re-sign and keep a new Big 4, including free agents Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler this summer, league sources tell ESPN. Philadelphia has long-term plans for Harris, Butler, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons together.

— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 6, 2019

this is insane. you need to have 13 players on your team!

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 08:28 (seven years ago)

not too worried about shot distribution. this allows them some flexibilty with lineups and having tobias and jj will open things up for simmons and embiid to work.

this makes sense in theory but if this team is being flexible with lineups aka staggering minutes they’re going to be playing guys who wouldn’t get on the court much for a lot of teams in the NBA. if you’re going to go all in on 4 guys you want them on the court.

and already embiid and jimmy have been complaining about the offense

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 08:34 (seven years ago)

i get that the league is an arms race against the warriors but the warriors have pieces that fit together... one of their 4 stars only shoots when forced to and another goes entire games without dribbling.

i don’t think forced super teams work & i’m really skeptical that this forced super team of all forced super teams is gonna work

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 08:49 (seven years ago)

they traded that miami pick for tobias harris??

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 11:21 (seven years ago)

feels like contingency for butler leaving the more i think about it.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 11:37 (seven years ago)

this is insanity

k3vin k., Wednesday, 6 February 2019 15:49 (seven years ago)

So are clippers hoarding picks to make a move for brow?

Fetchboy, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 16:04 (seven years ago)

i am available to sit on the sixers bench for the minimum nba salary

ciderpress, Wednesday, 6 February 2019 16:15 (seven years ago)

Pistons are finalizing a trade to send Stanley Johnson to Milwaukee for Thon Maker, league source tells ESPN.
