trading KP away undoubtedly *decreases* the chances KD signs there right? like part of the appeal was playing with another star...and now they have to hope kyrie actually considers leaving

plus, acquiring a few competent players in DSJ, DAJ, and wes might lessen their chances at the #1 pick?

k3vin k., Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:42 (seven years ago)

they could and should and probably will buy out DJ and Wes

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:43 (seven years ago)

maybe they could find a trade partner for DJ?

idk why i even do this to myself

i mean the nets play down the street from me and they're young and fun and have a good coach

simmy simmy ya, simmy yam simmy yay (voodoo chili), Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:44 (seven years ago)

stick with it voodoo, it will one day be worth it. nothing wrong with a side piece in the meantime tho.

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:50 (seven years ago)

does kyrie even want to change teams

― ciderpress, Thursday, January 31, 2019 4:37 PM (twelve minutes ago) Bookmark Flag Post Permalink

lol the kyrie thing does directly affect me but if he leaves honestly it’s fine, life will go on.

still don’t think he will.

its funny no one out there spinning free agent theories even acknowledges that kyrie told the celtics and the media that hes planning on resigning this summer, like obvs its not written in stone but he did go out of his way to say he was gonna do a thing and has since repeatedly reiterated his desire to build w the celtics long term and his general attitude and play are in line w that too

lag∞n, Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:53 (seven years ago)

damn someone should've told the knicks

simmy simmy ya, simmy yam simmy yay (voodoo chili), Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:56 (seven years ago)

i don’t really tend to listen to what kyrie says b/c he’s hard to take seriously a lot of the time but his play and effort has been impeccable and suggest he’s totally locked in on this team.

and again, he would go from one of the best orgs in the league with great stable ownership and management to...the knicks.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:56 (seven years ago)

he and kd are weirdos who knows. doesnt really matter what they say otm. hope they both stay tho.

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:58 (seven years ago)

knicks are gonna max boogie is whats gonna happen

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:58 (seven years ago)

who was the last star free agent to sign with the Knicks?

omar little, Thursday, 31 January 2019 21:59 (seven years ago)

Tyson Chandler or Stat?

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:00 (seven years ago)

melo's extension, i guess

simmy simmy ya, simmy yam simmy yay (voodoo chili), Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:07 (seven years ago)

i've gone from buying the kyrie to the knicks conspiracies to the kyrie to the lakers conspiracies

J0rdan S., Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:09 (seven years ago)

ya melo forced his way to the knicks specifically so i think that counts

lag∞n, Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:10 (seven years ago)

i guess the knicks executed this trade now bcuz it allowed them to dump two contracts but if KD and kyrie really wanted to go there they still could've made the necessary moves happen

J0rdan S., Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:11 (seven years ago)

its funny how the kyrie conspiracies have focused on the knicks and lakers when there are very obvious reasons he specifically wldnt want to go to those teams

lag∞n, Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:12 (seven years ago)

xp yes. there was no imperative to do this now, and certainly not to dump kristaps.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:13 (seven years ago)

there was KP for brow rumors and they got Dennis Smith I mean this is just so incredible

Clay, Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:29 (seven years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:34 (seven years ago)

ciderpress, Thursday, 31 January 2019 22:55 (seven years ago)

twilight dre jordan is a good knicks player

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 00:51 (seven years ago)

ESPN Sources with @IanBegley: Dallas is sending New York a 2021 unprotected first-round pick and a 2023 protected first-round pick (1-10) in the deal.

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 00:54 (seven years ago)

If DJ is on the knicks still within a few weeks then they’ve truly lost the plot. Unless they think think they can re-up him for cheap

marcos smart (Spottie), Friday, 1 February 2019 01:07 (seven years ago)

those are pretty loose protections. one of them could definitely be good.

dallas is going to get some grief for giving up a lot of assets but it will come from the same ppl that mock them for pretending they're a free agent destination.

call all destroyer, Friday, 1 February 2019 01:09 (seven years ago)

Maybe they’re trying to be a FA destination for all the good euros

marcos smart (Spottie), Friday, 1 February 2019 01:12 (seven years ago)

those picks are going to be in the 20s for sure

After learning of the Lakers’ offers to the Pelicans, Lonzo Ball’s camp maintains that New Orleans isn’t the desired destination. Phoenix makes the most basketball sense if Ball were to be traded and according to two sources there is mutual interest.

— Tania Ganguli (@taniaganguli) January 31, 2019

really enjoying lonzo ball's camp's continued delusion that anyone gives a fuck what they want

call all destroyer, Friday, 1 February 2019 01:57 (seven years ago)

love having a camp

ciderpress, Friday, 1 February 2019 01:59 (seven years ago)

also phoenix?

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:10 (seven years ago)

there is a delay at the spurs game on account of the bats

k3vin k., Friday, 1 February 2019 02:13 (seven years ago)

manu need to come out or retirement

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:14 (seven years ago)

Phx needs an actual point guard so literally any point guard makes sense on their roster

marcos smart (Spottie), Friday, 1 February 2019 02:15 (seven years ago)

Lonzo has a higher 3p% than booker currently lol

marcos smart (Spottie), Friday, 1 February 2019 02:16 (seven years ago)

phoenix isn't a terrible lonzo destination given he's on the timeline of their other guys and a decent fit next to booker, but the lakers have no reason to try to trade with phoenix so it's completely irrelevant.

call all destroyer, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:19 (seven years ago)

they must appease the camp

Clay, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:20 (seven years ago)

the camp has spoken

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:22 (seven years ago)

lonzo totally wants to chill in zona and have a low stress lifestyle

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:23 (seven years ago)

His camp won’t allow it tho

marcos smart (Spottie), Friday, 1 February 2019 02:25 (seven years ago)

damn

lag∞n, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:25 (seven years ago)

they have some nice retirement communities three

omar little, Friday, 1 February 2019 02:25 (seven years ago)
