his shooting %s have dropped i assume he's being asked/expected to do more

he's being asked to do more and is less efficient (and consistent) at it. Pretty normal, especially for rookies.

prob more that he was just hot to start/teams werent really ready for him, i mean having a 19 y/o be yr #1 scorer and distributor is just never going to really work that good

also he takes very difficult shots

his ideal role is prob a playmaker and #2 scorer next to some super athletic guy who can get to the rim etc, a dennis smith who can shoot if you will

Also his rebounding, steals, and assists are up. He's doing more of the work all around, including way more late in the shot clock hoisting. It's already his team, and guys are differing to him fully.

Ideally you'd have a competent big and not DJ. Imagine him with Brow.

definitely. supposedly the grizz want it to convey this year but there's a case to be made for sucking bad enough to keep it and draft high for a second year in a row.

yeah especially considering this years draft is looking pretty good at the top

wonder if davis being on the market will compel the knicks to give the zinger some run this year

first of all his numbers are not getting worse, he's taking on a huge offensive load (32% usage in january) and is continuing to thrive. 22.9/8.2/6.5 this month, all of which are monthly highs, and he's cutting his turnover rate every month too

his ideal role is fat james harden.

his shooting numbers dipping slightly over a 12 game sample is really not concerning to anyone else in the world that I know of, he's 19 and is running the offense all by himself, it's absolutely unprecedented what he's doing

i think luka is a huge talent but a bunch of what were seeing w his ~stats profile~ is a combination of going on heater being given too big a load for a rookie and just the state of the game

like last years jayson tatum cldve put up similar numbers as luka the last two months (minus the assists which tbf is a huge minus)

tho..... theres prob an argument for attacking the close out and walking right into a wide open midrange shot, its so much easier

maybe only use the sidestep when u cant get a wide open ~18ftr
