kawhi looks like the best player in the nba tonight

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:15 (seven years ago)

this game is good. cant belive kyrie missed that layup tho

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:21 (seven years ago)

wow the nets came back and tied it going to overtime.

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:22 (seven years ago)

dinwiddie hit three threes in a row

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:23 (seven years ago)

kyrie made up for missing that layup by making two much harder shots in the next two possessions

harvey wall/barrier (voodoo chili), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:23 (seven years ago)

KYRIEEEEE

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:23 (seven years ago)

sweet Harden can post up an even more ridiculous stat line

(his +/- is -5 right now)

frogbs, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:24 (seven years ago)

if anyone is wondering why i'm out on all kyrie criticism, that's fucking why

call all destroyer, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:24 (seven years ago)

dude just took over the final few minutes here

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:26 (seven years ago)

that went from being a bad loss for the celtics to a bad loss for the raptors

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:26 (seven years ago)

there was a long discussion on the recent bill simmons zach lowe podcast in which bill was criticizing kyrie for not doing what he just did (taking over a game in peril)

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:27 (seven years ago)

iirc the criticism has been more about his not setting the tone in big games, he concedes that he is a killer late

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:30 (seven years ago)

bill was holding kyrie to a weird standard (not really a surprise); kyrie has been unassailable this season.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:32 (seven years ago)

harden was ice cold from 3 for most of this game... 5 of 19 now but he was 3 of 15 a minute ago. 11 of 15 from 2 tho

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:32 (seven years ago)

he was holding him to harden's standard which is not realistic for anyone including james harden (probably) xp

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:32 (seven years ago)

but i think also on that podcast they talked about how kyrie has more value in the playoffs than the regular season because he's so good at finishing without relying on foul calls, as compared to harden (which i agree with)

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:34 (seven years ago)

dinwiddie for mvp

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:34 (seven years ago)

yeah that seems right, like picking a random game such as a tough road game in miami and saying the guy didn't show up sufficiently for that game isn't really a "standard"...idk i've watched a lot of kyrie and it seems like he's doing everything he possibly can to play winning basketball this season.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:35 (seven years ago)

yeah I don't really follow what he's going for, it's very vague. thought his take on kyrie's "leadership" was reasonable tho

xp cad

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:35 (seven years ago)

wow the rockets are going to lose this game

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:36 (seven years ago)

yeah also just being an elite shot creator for when defenses tighten up in the playoffs

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:37 (seven years ago)

crazy come back in regulation and in overtime by the nets

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:38 (seven years ago)

106 combined threes.

70 by the rockets...

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:38 (seven years ago)

xp it's likely because i'm a fan of the team but i find the leadership stuff to be way overdone, it's all code for certain players just needing to play better. it kills me to see kyrie playing his ass off on both ends and other dudes on the team massively underachieving.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:38 (seven years ago)

yup

ciderpress, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:40 (seven years ago)

70 by the rockets...

close, but no "nice"

harvey wall/barrier (voodoo chili), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:40 (seven years ago)

kyrie has been amazing this year. outside of his comment the other night (and a kind of rough first handful of games) seems like ive only heard positives about him this year.

at what point do you start to get concerned about hayward tho.

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:41 (seven years ago)

really liking this nets team, they seem to have figured it out. dinwiddie is a stud.

harvey wall/barrier (voodoo chili), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:41 (seven years ago)

when the nets signed ed davis, I knew they'd improve this season

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:45 (seven years ago)

btw I think if it hasn't been already it's time to put the cracks about harden's conditioning to rest -- to play these kinds of minutes and carry this kind of load while performing this well isn't something someone who's out of shape can do

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:47 (seven years ago)

luka 25-8-8 but spurs come back to win

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:47 (seven years ago)

well harden's conditioning has never really been questioned in january

J0rdan S., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:48 (seven years ago)

yeah he got into shape for sure. he just lets it go in the offseason a bit. dude is ripped right now tho.

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:50 (seven years ago)

haha yeah he's got to have a big playoffs to back this up, but the load he takes on is starting to become unprecedented, idk what human could have enough 4 months from now

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:51 (seven years ago)

xxxp this was such a good game! spurs were shitting the bed in the 1q, at one point down 23-4. they just kinda hung around in the first half, got close in the third, and put the gas down in the 4th. demar looked as good in that quarter as he has in a while. hopefully he can play like that for a full game when i go see them play on sunday.

21st savagery fox (m bison), Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:51 (seven years ago)

kyrie is lord fwiw hes won a bunch of games single handedly like tonight

lag∞n, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:57 (seven years ago)

idk if bill simmon wants him to do it every night but that doesnt seem reasonable

lag∞n, Thursday, 17 January 2019 03:59 (seven years ago)

harden might consider the regular season to be more important has anyone asked him

lag∞n, Thursday, 17 January 2019 04:00 (seven years ago)

he's made it clear how important MVP awards are to him

marcos smart (Spottie), Thursday, 17 January 2019 04:02 (seven years ago)

like kyrie takes over games so often that when toronto went ahead i was like i wonder if hell take over and sure enough

lag∞n, Thursday, 17 January 2019 04:02 (seven years ago)
