this is weird

The Dallas Mavericks are escalating discussions to find a trade for point guard Dennis Smith Jr., league sources tell ESPN. Phoenix and Orlando have engaged in ongoing talks with Mavs. Smith Jr., has sat out three straight games with what team has termed a sore back.

another good game from the celtics tonight

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:21 (seven years ago)

uhhh harden has 36 at the half

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:23 (seven years ago)

ainge not trading Rozier at his peak last year was a dumb move it seems.

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:24 (seven years ago)

weve been over this he is his son

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:25 (seven years ago)

....they needed a backup point guard for this year

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:26 (seven years ago)

eh they've got guys who can dribble pass shoot and such xp

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:27 (seven years ago)

family is the most important thing

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:27 (seven years ago)

i am so incredibly fatigued of people (mostly places other than here tbf) suggesting that the front office should have anticipated that all the players that played well would start to play badly.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:28 (seven years ago)

def a fair point

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:29 (seven years ago)

teams shd hire clairvoyants

21st savagery fox (m bison), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:32 (seven years ago)

yeah sorry. wasnt he kind of giving signs last season that he wanted a bigger role elsewhere? might be remembering wrongly.

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:33 (seven years ago)

yeah there were definitely ppl who said they should have traded him earlier

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:33 (seven years ago)

of course he wants a bigger role. the best way to do that would have been to play well in a defined role this year and get paid somewhere else next year.

they were trying to get to the finals this year. moving out talent never made any sense.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:35 (seven years ago)

like, looking for shots and playing like trash isn't going to help him get paid but he hasn't been able to figure that out

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:35 (seven years ago)

I can't decide if austin rivers is really bad or just bad

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:38 (seven years ago)

ha found myself wondering the same, truly one of the important questions

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:39 (seven years ago)

like the numbers pretty unanimously iirc agree he's one of the worst rotation players to ever have a long career but then sometimes he does stuff out there

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:41 (seven years ago)

harden is going to need to avg like 50-12-12 over the next month. so like marginally more than what he's been doing m/l

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:41 (seven years ago)

to me he's just bad which is actually better because he's going to keep getting jobs for the next 8 years or so

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:41 (seven years ago)

watching him try to do houston type stuff is low key hilarious

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:42 (seven years ago)

harden otoh I am pretty sure is really really good

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:44 (seven years ago)

he seems good yeah

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:45 (seven years ago)

spurs low key playing terrible the last two games. they really miss rudy gay and demar is in a slump.

21st savagery fox (m bison), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:45 (seven years ago)

celtics have mastered the pretend comeback this year where u cut a 20pt deficit to 7 and then time runs out

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:47 (seven years ago)

that was also against the nets who would be delighted to give up a 20-pt lead in the 4th most of the time

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:49 (seven years ago)

this man is a fn lunatic

lag∞n, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:53 (seven years ago)

the grizzlies came back down to earth huh

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:53 (seven years ago)

yeah i didnt think that roster could sustain its start (nor pelicans), clippers are holding on tho

21st savagery fox (m bison), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:54 (seven years ago)

pelicans are better than their record shows imo

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:54 (seven years ago)

dubs v nugs tomorrow night btw

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 02:55 (seven years ago)

sometimes i think harden is a troll other times i think he might be kinda stoned?

Clay, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:00 (seven years ago)

¿por que no los dos?

21st savagery fox (m bison), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:00 (seven years ago)

lowe cosigning the dennis smith chatter

Few names as hot as Smith right now on the trade market. Tons of buzz. https://t.co/ePFY2siI0O

— Zach Lowe (@ZachLowe_NBA) January 15, 2019

i haven't watched enough of him to have an opinion, i guess i admire the proactiveness but the assets coming back are really important

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:18 (seven years ago)

I honestly feel bad for anyone who has to guard harden

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:20 (seven years ago)

i liked dennis smith a lot in college & still believe in his talent but he seems immature

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:31 (seven years ago)

harden is now up to 34.8 points per game

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:32 (seven years ago)

I mean if capela and paul are out a while...he could challenge jordan right?

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:36 (seven years ago)

the 32 ppg club (since merger)

http://bkref.com/tiny/LhiKk

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:37 (seven years ago)

Probably xp

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:37 (seven years ago)

Forgot about that tmac season where he was way efficient from 3

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:41 (seven years ago)

i welcome this, and the resultant "harden is gassed in the playoffs" content

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:42 (seven years ago)

He really needs a signature playoff run

marcos smart (Spottie), Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:43 (seven years ago)

lmao grayson allen just blocked the shit out of stanley johnson, if you were in on stanley before tonite well let me tell you it's not looking great

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 03:45 (seven years ago)

ciderpress, Tuesday, 15 January 2019 14:04 (seven years ago)
