I'm still bummed The Omen didn't take off. But maybe 2 Legit Doncic has legs.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 02:06 (seven years ago)

21st savagery fox (m bison), Wednesday, 5 December 2018 02:08 (seven years ago)

A is for (Aimless), Wednesday, 5 December 2018 02:37 (seven years ago)

what would have happened if you typed DUMPLINGS! under the old rules?

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 02:38 (seven years ago)

The suns don’t deserve Zion

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 02:41 (seven years ago)

i don't think zion and ayton can play together in today's nba, so it would still be kinda funny

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 5 December 2018 02:44 (seven years ago)

The suns should be contracted

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 03:12 (seven years ago)

suns shd be sold to seattle

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 03:14 (seven years ago)

no way, nba should expand to 40 teams

21st savagery fox (m bison), Wednesday, 5 December 2018 03:15 (seven years ago)

Booker has been hurt all season more or less. But that’s becoming the norm w him, always banged up.

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 03:26 (seven years ago)

Maybe as the situation changes Ayton will have a different mentality but as it is his effort level is pathetic.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:06 (seven years ago)

yeah for now he seems content to just put up his double doubles and chill. not even averaging at least 1 block per game says it all

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:13 (seven years ago)

he was like that at arizona too tho

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:19 (seven years ago)

One of the reasons opposing players finish so easily over and around Ayton is that he doesn’t block many shots. It’s not a surprise, given the LaVine clips above, that he’s blocked just 2.2 percent of opposing 2-point shots. That ranks 36th out of 43 qualifying centers this season and, more broadly, just 87th out of 119 qualifying rookie centers since 1974-75, when the statistic was first recorded. Carter (at 5.3 percent) ranks 21st out of the 119, and fellow rookie Mo Bamba (6.6 percent) ranks eighth. Jackson doesn’t qualify as a center in Basketball-Reference, but he would place in the top five with a 7.9 percent block rate. And pay attention to the Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson, whose 9.6 percent rate would rank second all time, behind only 7-foot-7 Manute Bol’s, if he maintained it for the full season.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:22 (seven years ago)

from the same article

Ayton’s various failings coalesce into one broader illustrative statistic: When he defends an attempt within 6 feet of the hoop, opponents are shooting 65.5 percent, the highest for any player who’s faced at least 100 such shots. (Second and third from the bottom, respectively, are Nemanja Bjelica and Enes Kanter, who don’t quite serve as role models for aspiring rim protectors.) Carter and Jaren Jackson Jr. rank fourth and seventh, respectively, with allowed field goal percentages hovering around 50 percent.

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:35 (seven years ago)

thats crazy that jaren jackson has a higher block rate than mo bamba looks like weve got a real player on our hands here folks

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:49 (seven years ago)

agree. interesting tho he has a pretty major advantage being able to play the majority of his minutes on the floor with gasol

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:52 (seven years ago)

yeah and for a good team etc

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 17:53 (seven years ago)

yeah apparently the grizz are awful when jaren plays on his own but he also just turned 19

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 5 December 2018 18:30 (seven years ago)

i feel like at the time there was a real lack of interrogation into the suns deciding immediately to pick ayton

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 5 December 2018 18:31 (seven years ago)

i was astounded at the time that people/teams didn't consider doncic a consensus #1

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 18:33 (seven years ago)

durant is such a piece of work

The Poppy Bush AutoZone (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Wednesday, 5 December 2018 18:49 (seven years ago)

kd doesn't seem very pleasant to be around

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 5 December 2018 18:55 (seven years ago)

i have no idea how to peg the dude. sounds like his teammates dont either.

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 19:05 (seven years ago)

i hear he just signed a production deal with apple despite already being a google pitchman. dude has no loyalty whatsoever

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Wednesday, 5 December 2018 19:17 (seven years ago)

neither do corporations
he does seem like a somewhat broken dude

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Wednesday, 5 December 2018 19:34 (seven years ago)

really good matchup raps v 76ers tonight on espn

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 19:54 (seven years ago)

i will never forget ayton’s interview from draft night right after he got picked where he talked about how it had been all about hard work since he left the bahamas in a way that suggested he wasn’t a big fan of hard work.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 20:32 (seven years ago)

he def has the makeup of someone who doesn't ~love~ the game

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 20:40 (seven years ago)

i dont think he's particularly wrong

idk hes so unathletic and cant find easy shots everything is a stepback or weird floater and hes prob gonna get roasted on D his entire career, but on the other hand he is currently putting up numbers almost unprecedented for someone his age

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:15 (seven years ago)

hes good is what you're saying

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:26 (seven years ago)

i mean idk i wld worry abt kawhi shutting him down in a playoff series for instance

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:27 (seven years ago)

being a difficult shot maker is a tough job in the nba, which isnt to say there arent guys who do it, but like even kyrie gets some easy layups

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:28 (seven years ago)

way too early to worry about that! and kawhi shuts down lebron so ...

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:28 (seven years ago)

on the other hand doncic is putting up numbers almost unprecedented for someone his age

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:29 (seven years ago)

i think this offseason will tell us a lot about him, needs to cut that roundness into muscle.

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:30 (seven years ago)

yeah def need to seem him in peak fitness

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:30 (seven years ago)

but the fact that the mavs are contending for playoffs also says a ton about how good he is. also dennis smith's shooting improvements are a nice wrinkle.

Spottie, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:33 (seven years ago)

yeah i mean it wld be crazy to say what hes doing isnt amazing

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:34 (seven years ago)

lmao wld be amazing if john wall was actually tradable but the wiz were unwilling to pull the trigger

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 December 2018 21:38 (seven years ago)

also if its gm lebron who makes it happen
