the pistons were running the absolute simplest stuff down the stretch and got it done. it isn't going to be attractive but they could grind their way to a respectable record.

to me respectable grind means you have an outside shot at the 6th seed; it's a small but important difference

i want the pistons to work cos i still like the idea of your two best players being bigs. we never got full-swing boogie n brow they were just starting to click when the achilles happened.

blakes had a few dud games but overall he's having a really strong season

conley and gasol are still so good. garrett temple was a steal. memphis ran a horrendous ato where they advanced the ball and then somehow didn't have anyone acting as the safety valve that runs into the backcourt but got bailed out by an off-ball foul.

based on their two late atos i think bickerstaff may not know that you can throw in to the backcourt when you advance the ball

tonight, the KAT/saric fit looked pretty good. not too unlike the brow/mirotic pairing. but KAT has to play that hard/well every game.

i dont disagree... but what can you do when you have to play lavine and jabari major minutes
