KD with the Warriors also reminds of me LeBron's Heat era, except LeBron was the clear-cut leader and he seemingly relished those years. The similarity is in the lack of validation, once LeBron won a title in Cleveland he seemed to finally achieve it.

w bron it was like he 'learned his lesson' when they lost the first title and people were excited to cheer against him after that no one cared any more

yeah i mean im not sure about how good dray still is i just think theres a serious possibility for an early decline there, but he cld also be a real contributor for years to come, i do think his days as an absolute night in night out force of nature on D are prob over xp

also his decline from bad shooter to guy who passes up the most open looks hinders his ability to make plays

he could settle into a shawn marion type of role late career and help title contenders with hussle and smarts

yeah the thing he has going for him is hes a basketball genius which ages well

the thing i dont get is hes so much better when he doesnt bend his knees an insane amount on his jumper but he just hasnt made that seemingly simple correction

hard to change years and years of a habit

if anything his shot looks worse than it ever has its just totally uncoordinated, i wonder if its one of those bad shot doctoring situations that lead guys to overthink things

dray's unnaturally good at defending at the 3 point line and holding up in the post, i feel like he still has ~4 more years left of being better than most nba players at the combination of those two things

CBS is saying "Several Warriors not on board to recruit Kevin Durant in free agency come next offseason" but the article just reads like they're talking to anonymous Draymond.

I could see some of the young players behind Durant thinking they could get more minutes and advance their own careers if Durant was gone.

pistons players were all coming up to dwayne casey and hugging him after they won in toronto tonight.... they looked like a team that likes each other :-)

the pistons were running the absolute simplest stuff down the stretch and got it done. it isn't going to be attractive but they could grind their way to a respectable record.
