Hah yup. And yeah I remember that 2009(?) run but more for Chauncey being the most important player on that team. Don’t remember that one going 7 vs the lakers.

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 00:12 (seven years ago)

Juancho finally starting, Hope I was right about this

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 12 November 2018 00:36 (seven years ago)

that series only went 6 games, was also the birthplace of "nuggets will win the nba playoffs" iirc because the celtics were out at that point

ciderpress, Monday, 12 November 2018 00:41 (seven years ago)

jesus that was a fast end to the melo experiment

J0rdan S., Monday, 12 November 2018 01:58 (seven years ago)

about a week ago a friend asked me why the rockets were struggling and i said "well for one they signed melo this summer" and he was like "ohhhhh, i forgot about that, makes sense."

Clay, Monday, 12 November 2018 02:08 (seven years ago)

so brook lopez is klay thompson now

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 02:37 (seven years ago)

nothin more fun in the NBA than when some random dude starts feelin' it

frogbs, Monday, 12 November 2018 02:45 (seven years ago)

btw I like the jimmy deal a lot more for the sixers than for the wolves...you could make the argument that those 4 first rounders they possibly could have gotten from houston were unlikely to yield a player as good as saric or covington, but...what is the plan? those are 2 solid players but it seems like they're consigning themselves to mediocrity in the medium-term now. if you trade for the picks you can at least hope to get lucky with one of them or even have them to flip for another star down the road. now they're just gonna be a borderline playoff team for the next few years

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 02:45 (seven years ago)

league pass alert nuggs/bucks 3mins left

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:08 (seven years ago)

ugh nikola

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:09 (seven years ago)

Some really bad possessions by the nuggets over the last few minutes

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 03:11 (seven years ago)

Seems like they don’t know what their best five man roster is

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 03:13 (seven years ago)

as soon as morris came out the offense fell apart

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:13 (seven years ago)

ugh gary why foul there?

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:15 (seven years ago)

absolutely embarrassing last 4 minutes

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:16 (seven years ago)

Still not sold on Jamal Murray as a point guard. And if they’re just gonna go multiple possessions without running it through Jokic then idk.

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 03:16 (seven years ago)

Really dumb playing there yah

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 03:16 (seven years ago)

I really hate malone man

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:21 (seven years ago)

that better have been all harris on that foul

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 03:22 (seven years ago)

So many head scratchers in the 4th q.

Boston only 37 in the first half what is their deal.

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 03:29 (seven years ago)

they look gassed

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 03:43 (seven years ago)

it’s kinda weird how the blazers are very good

Clay, Monday, 12 November 2018 04:20 (seven years ago)

i know, it defies gravity

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 12 November 2018 04:22 (seven years ago)

TRAE!

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 04:41 (seven years ago)

wow lakers down 1 lebron at ft line misses both but they scrap for the ball and he ends up with a tip dunk. trae gets ball for one last try and throws up a floater and tyson chandler blocks it right at the apex.

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 04:59 (seven years ago)

Daman Rangoola @damanr

Carmelo Anthony and Vince Carter could not be more polar opposite in how they handled their physical decline in their careers and this is why Vince at 41 is a viable pro and Melo at 34 is not

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 05:09 (seven years ago)

its funny cos vince was kind of a diva in his prime but somewhere along the way he shed his ego

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 05:12 (seven years ago)

there's more to it than that tho, vince just has more skills at this point in his career

k3vin k., Monday, 12 November 2018 05:14 (seven years ago)

yeah def. for instance tonight he d'd up lebron in the 4th q of a close game.

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 05:19 (seven years ago)

his years in dallas were his transition into essential bench player

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 12 November 2018 05:26 (seven years ago)

Adam Himmelsbach @AdamHimmelsbach

Kyrie: "Right now I think it would be nice if we had someone that was a 15-year vet, a 14-year vet that could kind of help us race along the regular season and understand it’s a long marathon rather than just a full-on sprint."

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 06:38 (seven years ago)

???????

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 06:38 (seven years ago)

lol yes what you want to do is add carmelo to your stacked team

Clay, Monday, 12 November 2018 06:40 (seven years ago)

horfords 11 years arent enough?

micah, Monday, 12 November 2018 07:17 (seven years ago)

yeah this deal def has a uh wide range if potential outcomes for philly but i think it was p much a no brainer, it wldve been better to get someone closer to embiids age but its not like u just have yr pick of jimmy caliber players, of course in a couple years he cld easily be an injured bully making 30m a year

― lag∞n, Sunday, November 11, 2018 2:09 PM (yesterday) Bookmark Flag Post Permalink

Yeah all exactly otm I know I said I’d avoid jimmy but if I was running the sixers getting him for 2 ok dudes and flotsam is a go 10/10 times, risk of it going bad included

gritty tigger reboot (agent hibachi), Monday, 12 November 2018 11:46 (seven years ago)

I also think Embiid is a much stronger personality and much more likely to either get along with jimmy or at least work a well with him on court even if they dislike each other than KAT

gritty tigger reboot (agent hibachi), Monday, 12 November 2018 11:47 (seven years ago)

I watched the lakers game because I haven’t figured out how to overcome blackout restrictions in denver. Lebron looked incredibly old and at times kind of pathetic. He ISO’d on Omari Spellman like 6 times and I think he succeeded once.

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 12 November 2018 16:01 (seven years ago)

I feel like Trae Young will settle in to being just a good nba starting point guard. No revolutionary scoring machine, pretty flawed but not bad at all.

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 12 November 2018 16:02 (seven years ago)

yeah hate to say it but I do wonder if we're about to get a bunch of "have we forgotten what a dominant force of nature Lebron was just ONE YEAR AGO?" articles in the next couple months

frogbs, Monday, 12 November 2018 16:06 (seven years ago)

hes looked really lazy this year, but it may just be his body not letting him do things. seems like he settles for that step back three way too much. h

Spottie, Monday, 12 November 2018 16:08 (seven years ago)

Nice to see Millsap look like a living human again

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 12 November 2018 17:57 (seven years ago)

being a living human kicks ass

ciderpress, Monday, 12 November 2018 18:05 (seven years ago)

It’s funny how Mo Bamba has been so good but Vucevic for 13 games has essentially been a superstar
