bledsoe was very bad in that series but last year’s bucks team was a total mess

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 05:33 (seven years ago)

his whole way of being tho, it was repulsive

lag∞n, Friday, 9 November 2018 05:33 (seven years ago)

i don’t think middleton and bledsoe as their second and third best players is quite enough to get the bucks past toronto or boston (or maybe even philly) but it’s not out of the question

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 05:35 (seven years ago)

middleton is playing like a legit #2 but like i said i dont trust it, its his 7th year in the league, bledsoe is a non starter

lag∞n, Friday, 9 November 2018 05:36 (seven years ago)

bledsoe def has headcase vibes but we’re not talking about like dion waiters or something. bledsoe was actually good not that long ago

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 05:37 (seven years ago)

im a little behind in this game but it looks like the bucks are ~30pts up on the dubs

lag∞n, Friday, 9 November 2018 05:38 (seven years ago)

bledsoe is balling tonight

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 05:38 (seven years ago)

they should put all the headcase guys on one team

Clay, Friday, 9 November 2018 05:38 (seven years ago)

lebron should have to play w/ only the headcase guys

Clay, Friday, 9 November 2018 05:38 (seven years ago)

Through 10 games, Carmelo Anthony has more missed shots (72) than field goals, assists, steals, and blocks combined (65).

Rockets are 15.4 points per 100 possessions better with him off the court.

i defended the meko signing but he might be irreversibly cooked

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 05:50 (seven years ago)

yeah its really starting to look just totally conclusive

lag∞n, Friday, 9 November 2018 05:51 (seven years ago)

Spottie, Friday, 9 November 2018 06:53 (seven years ago)

Spottie, Friday, 9 November 2018 07:02 (seven years ago)

ciderpress, Friday, 9 November 2018 07:05 (seven years ago)

yea that series was a good case study in how a talent advantage can't overtake a team with an actual plan and the ability to adjust. Bledsoe and Freak were not working together at all, Jabari was a disaster on defense, and they had no answer for Al Horford whatsoever. still took it to 7 on the back of Middleton, who really emerged as a star that series. but still. this year's team looks totally different.

David Fizdale said Kristaps Porzingis is still only jogging lightly

But the #Knicks star took to Instagram to try to prove he's able to do more than that 👇https://t.co/lrme35SLiY @SBondyNYDN pic.twitter.com/psOjv8alZ3

I called the whole Jabari Parker thing

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 9 November 2018 18:07 (seven years ago)

But Butler is averaging 35.6 MPG in his nine games to date. He has only landed below 32 minutes twice -- opening night and a blowout L to Milwaukee. Butler logged nearly 40 minutes in Monday's road L to the Clippers that I attended, then 43 minutes in Wednesday's L to the Lakers https://t.co/TQCEHoaZUu

it was suspicious to me that he cleared waivers so smoothly ?

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 20:33 (seven years ago)

i had not realized until i read this post that the jabari thing was going so bad already

https://deadspin.com/jabari-parker-looks-really-disengaged-right-now-1830314705

J0rdan S., Friday, 9 November 2018 20:33 (seven years ago)

I love watching Jabari Parker but when it comes to winning games he is poison

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 9 November 2018 21:11 (seven years ago)

Mo Bamba should have gone top 3

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 10 November 2018 00:34 (seven years ago)

im watching tony parker play for the hornets

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 01:42 (seven years ago)

k3vin k., Saturday, 10 November 2018 04:10 (seven years ago)

He needs a sports psychologist

Spottie, Saturday, 10 November 2018 04:34 (seven years ago)

For Saric and Covington and a pick!

I like Poeltls (fionnland), Saturday, 10 November 2018 17:53 (seven years ago)

wow interesting

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 17:54 (seven years ago)

wonder if jimmy will be on best behavior i hope not a feud w simmons has a lot of potential

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 17:59 (seven years ago)

that pick is only a second rounder, the market for jimmy wasnt exactly burning up i guess

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:02 (seven years ago)

this seals fultzs fate, out of the league within 3 years

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:08 (seven years ago)

trying to think of a more blatantly combustable big 3 and drawing a blank

Jimmy Butler and the Sixers fully expect to reach a deal on a long-term contract this summer, league sources tell ESPN. Sixers made deal with plans to add Butler to a Big Three with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

I think it works. Those guys all work hard and seem to care about winning

Spottie, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:20 (seven years ago)

today's slate of games is....really bad

ciderpress, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:22 (seven years ago)

10 games of team i'm okay with vs. team i do not wish to look at

ciderpress, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:22 (seven years ago)

simmons is a sulking loner whos useless w/o the ball in his hands, embiid is a goofball who just does whatever he feels like out there, and jimmy is a ball domineering boss from hell, seems pretty dicey/not a perfect basketball fit

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:24 (seven years ago)

That’s pretty reductive. Embiid has been so good this year, and legit cares about defense as compared to Karl Anthony Bennet. 76ers lost some depth tho.

Spottie, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:28 (seven years ago)

joel is def tearing it up but hes also still shooting 4 3s a game at 30%

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:31 (seven years ago)

simmons is obvs the much bigger concern tho

lag∞n, Saturday, 10 November 2018 18:31 (seven years ago)

Ehh, Simmons being a loner leaves less room for friction with Jimmy. The benefits of Embiid doing whatever he feels like far outweigh the downsides. I think jimmy is more flexible as a player than you’re giving him credit for.

All the same I too am skeptical about the fit but I don’t think Jimmy makes them worse
