yea that series was a good case study in how a talent advantage can't overtake a team with an actual plan and the ability to adjust. Bledsoe and Freak were not working together at all, Jabari was a disaster on defense, and they had no answer for Al Horford whatsoever. still took it to 7 on the back of Middleton, who really emerged as a star that series. but still. this year's team looks totally different.

simmons is a sulking loner whos useless w/o the ball in his hands, embiid is a goofball who just does whatever he feels like out there, and jimmy is a ball domineering boss from hell, seems pretty dicey/not a perfect basketball fit

That’s pretty reductive. Embiid has been so good this year, and legit cares about defense as compared to Karl Anthony Bennet. 76ers lost some depth tho.
