i liked connaughton some when he was on portland but like i don't know if he's more than a solid 9th-10th man type. otoh it's always good to have a couple of those guys.

i must have told this story here but i ran into my uncle and cousin on the td garden concourse a couple years ago when the blazers were in town. they were there with a big arlington contingent to support connaughton when he was a rookie. the game got into garbage time in the 4th so he actually played a bunch and tyou could here the crowd cheering for him, it was cool.

I understand rookie addiction now. I never did before, you know. How could a man do something so self-destructive, knowing that they’re hurting not only themselves, but the people they love?
