Tyreke has been ballin fine so far. Very deep bench, so they're still figuring out how much to use him. Think they're realizing that healthy Tyreke vs. 2nd teams is a no-brainer, so the more they can have him drive-kick to McDermott (and now Joseph, who has played better than Collison so far), the better. Basically, just 30 Tyreke/Sabonis pnrs a game, with Tyreke making the decisions rather than Joseph. Only minus for Tyreke so far is that he's been settling for jumpers, but he's still a decent enough shooter to let it slide.

I think the general pre-season consensus was that the raptors would be more or less the same as last year, but that the bucks were due to make a leap with an actual coach

raptors upgraded pending kawhi's health, that was the main question mark. they're obviously better if he's well

i think people thought those teams would be good, but they look like finals contenders which i think is a step above what people were projecting for the east

looking like finals contenders before Halloween is pretty meaningless

i dont know what people were projecting for the east i thought it was celtics vs raptors and maybe bucks which still looks right?

incredible to see the Bucks actually look like a modern NBA team. not only are they taking better shots but Giannis seems more aware of where his teammates are. there was a play last night where he was barreling to the hoop w/ 3 bodies on him and he quickly shot a no-look pass to Snell in the corner - looked almost LeBron-esque

they are def fun to watch. broook lopez took 11 threes liast night and is avearging like 7 attempts per game and middleton is shooting 8 per game.starting brogdon over snell is smart cos snell is bad.

hah didn't see this, but neither of those were the plays I was thinking of (could only watch the 4th last night)

they remind me a bit of the Heatles, with Bledsoe as Wade & Lopez in the Bosh role. I kinda thought Ilyasova might actually be an upgrade on Jabari for this team.
