Spottie, did you ever find out what hair salon he was talking about?

Fetchboy, Monday, 22 October 2018 17:27 (seven years ago)

xps they have the same problem that they had last year, outside of their big 3 shooters, they have minimal outside shooting. jarebko may help but who knows how much he'll play. Also, just like last year, their wing depth is abysmal. If/when Iggy misses time again they have nothing behind kd/klay, the guy they drafted should probably spend his season in the g league and who knows whats going on with mccaw.

I like the idea of going young with hungry and unproven guys and giving it a whole season to see if any of them can crack the top 8-9 rotation. theyre giving damian jones a look now and will probably give the same shot to bell at some point. looney has improved and is the backup plan when those guys arent getting it done.

they also just played 3 tough teams, a road split in denver/utah isnt bad. this week looks a lot easier with phx/wiz/knicks/nets. kd/klay only have two threes combined through 3 games.

starting to regret my "Cavs are underrated" pick

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Monday, 22 October 2018 17:52 (seven years ago)

Yes losing to a hawks team that was blown out by double digits to the knicks and grizz does not bode well. Kinda bummed bc I really wanted their pick

Heez, Monday, 22 October 2018 17:55 (seven years ago)

this is all good

the nuggets will win the NBA playoffs

k3vin k., Monday, 22 October 2018 18:50 (seven years ago)

if they play D like this then they have a shot for sure

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Monday, 22 October 2018 18:51 (seven years ago)

draymonds mom

Draymond has tendinitis and rather play then sit out! Whole bunch of mess didn’t happen in that game!

— Mary B (@BabersGreen) October 22, 2018

maybe he should get it scoped and take 6 weeks off...

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Monday, 22 October 2018 19:04 (seven years ago)

I'm disappointed her twitter handle isn't DrayMom Green

Me too but I am feeling my West predictions of Clippers being underrated and Lakers overrated

You (bleeping) need me. You can't Finn without me (fionnland), Monday, 22 October 2018 20:07 (seven years ago)

are you ready to predict the clippers having a better record than the lakers though

ciderpress, Monday, 22 October 2018 20:57 (seven years ago)

I really love this young hawks team. Trae is such a good passer. When Collins comes back I expect some magical shit to happen.

Heez, Monday, 22 October 2018 21:33 (seven years ago)

some promising dudes 4 sure

lag∞n, Monday, 22 October 2018 21:52 (seven years ago)

i like the concept there and hope it works

srsly playing through tendinitis is the thing you shdnt do, the injury that famously is cured by rest

lag∞n, Monday, 22 October 2018 22:05 (seven years ago)

dray played through the shoulder thing last year too, and his production dipped cos of it. I appreciate the ride or die mentality but man alive dude take care of yourself youre more important in May/June. i wonder if he has monetary incentive that makes that choice harder?

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Monday, 22 October 2018 22:11 (seven years ago)

this is such a great breakdown of the chippiness in the lal/hou game

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Monday, 22 October 2018 22:11 (seven years ago)

yeah playing through injury in october isnt really the look xp

good coach nick video, refs seem to also be playing themselves into shape

lag∞n, Monday, 22 October 2018 22:12 (seven years ago)

feel like pretty much every game ive watched so far refs have had no rhythm

lag∞n, Monday, 22 October 2018 22:13 (seven years ago)

for sure, the foul calling is very random atm. pretty strange first week of action really.

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Monday, 22 October 2018 22:14 (seven years ago)

yeah, the emphasis on punishing restriction of movement seems dumb. The game's pretty fast as is and you've got to let defenders fight over screens.

Fetchboy, Monday, 22 October 2018 23:57 (seven years ago)

Kyrie is bad now ?

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Tuesday, 23 October 2018 00:07 (seven years ago)

refs just called a pushing foul on theis when he was lying on the ground and someone jumped over him (??)

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 01:14 (seven years ago)

kyrie having a more normal game finally

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 01:16 (seven years ago)

raptors look extremely strong so far

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 01:33 (seven years ago)

friends, I am cautiously excited about the nuggets, who I think we all agree should be ILH's team this year

k3vin k., Tuesday, 23 October 2018 01:42 (seven years ago)

ilh's team this year and every year is, "the harlem globetrotters"

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 01:50 (seven years ago)

raptors are going to be good xp

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 01:59 (seven years ago)

iirc the raptors picked up a player in the off season who may be good at hooping

A is for (Aimless), Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:01 (seven years ago)

Lavine is playing amazing basketball tbh

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:04 (seven years ago)

i always believed in that dude at least on offense

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:16 (seven years ago)

magic scored 93 points and beat the celtics just feel like i need to put that out there in order to move on with my life

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:21 (seven years ago)

the knicks really know how to break ur heart every night. they were doing so well

Trϵϵship, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:23 (seven years ago)

the knicks are, not the greatest team to be a fan of lol

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:23 (seven years ago)

what's the game to watch tomorrow?

Trϵϵship, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:24 (seven years ago)

JJ Barea swishing 35 footers in the fall of 2018

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:24 (seven years ago)

i scrupulously dvr'd this and watched it with no laptop or phone or any distractions which was just a horrible choice by me.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:27 (seven years ago)

was just a bad shooting night not too much to take away re: celtics

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:27 (seven years ago)

now gonna check out this "LA Lakers" team i've heard so much about

ciderpress, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:27 (seven years ago)

eh there were some things to take away. they got destroyed inside by vooch and isaac; really missed baynes. also the reserves on the whole outplayed the starters. not making a ton of progress on chemistry with all the starters.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:31 (seven years ago)

oh no poor treeship is a knicks fan

k3vin k., Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:40 (seven years ago)

I’m all about this suns-warriors game

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:40 (seven years ago)

feel like the celtics have played hard for like 10 minutes so far this season, and yeah they do not seem in synch with each other, part of it seems like having so many options is making the players tentative

lag∞n, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 02:42 (seven years ago)

Ayton has a ways to go

i feel like the all try to make good decisions on each possession but it never comes together. gotta say i didn't think they would need this much time but i also didn't think kyrie would look this rusty and had no inkling that jaylen would look totally lost.
