i think the LeBron Lakers will have one game (maybe even the first meeting) where they utterly decimate the Warriors bc LBJ will make it personal and GSW will underestimate them, but then the other meetings will be lopsided destructions in favor of GSW.

LeBron Lakers looked pretty damn good in the first pre-season game.

Unless Nurkic and some of the untested bench players take big steps ahead, the Blazers will be very lucky to win 45 and get the eighth playoff spot this season. Underperforming, to my mind, would be ending the season under .500. They're already talking up Meyers Leonard's preseason play, which seems like a bad sign to me.

yeah aimless i have portland just a hair under .500 and around 10th in the west which seems like an underperformance to me. wild cards would be a major trade of say lillard for prospects and the blazers tanking it out or firing stotts. both seemed more likely before allen died; presumably the FO will prioritize stability in his wake.

ive got kyrie ahead of dame easily cos dame is really very bad in the playoffs which no one really talks about. playoff career 40% shooting percentage.
