InfoWarriors (Spottie), Friday, 27 July 2018 06:12 (seven years ago)

It's an everyday read now and not just the occasional link.

Jeff, Friday, 27 July 2018 09:34 (seven years ago)

four months pass...

a bit embarrassed to admit that I love that they're essentially going to to rolling updated power rankings lol

k3vin k., Friday, 21 December 2018 05:47 (seven years ago)

he has dray above klay clearly been lurking

Clay, Friday, 21 December 2018 06:12 (seven years ago)

tbf theyve both been bad this year

тпсбlack (Spottie), Friday, 21 December 2018 06:16 (seven years ago)

this is deranged content... michelen stars and gold pantheons this is more complicated than school let me breathe man

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:00 (seven years ago)

3rd season is prob when ppl are least psyched about young players

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:06 (seven years ago)

cj above kyrie huh lol

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:08 (seven years ago)

also a lot of this is just wrong on a pure base level... like jayson tatum over KD. if the celtics called the warriors and offered that trade straight up the warriors would laugh in their faces but boston would do it in a heartbeat

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:08 (seven years ago)

yeah there some overvaluing of young players on cheap contracts going on here for sure, which is all well and good but you have to take in to consideration that young players are bad

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:09 (seven years ago)

if the bulls called the suns and offered wendell carter straight up for deandre ayton the suns would block the bulls front office's number

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:10 (seven years ago)

btw watched ayton the other night and hes def got some offensive game but yeah he looked tired out there energy levels cld be a problem

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:14 (seven years ago)

i don't necessarily think ayton is better than carter but the idea that carter has more trade value than ayton right now is crazy

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:15 (seven years ago)

its wrong for sure

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:16 (seven years ago)

the list is bad also why did they do the fancy design which relegates the info youre looking for to a fraction of the screen (on desktop)

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:17 (seven years ago)

it does look way better on mobile

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:18 (seven years ago)

yeah I think the list would be better if he abandoned the tiers because clearly there are some players on bigger contracts that would definitely get traded for cheaper youngr players as jordan mentioned. I like the michelin stars tho haha, and the pantheon levels are just from his book

k3vin k., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:18 (seven years ago)

got the #1 right obv :P

frogbs, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:19 (seven years ago)

its funny because michelin ratings at least for american restaurants are also very bad and nonsensical

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:20 (seven years ago)

brow is way better than "the freak"

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:20 (seven years ago)

that one makes sense to me because of the contracts

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:23 (seven years ago)

if the bucks offered giannis to pelicans for brow they would have to do it

J0rdan S., Friday, 21 December 2018 18:23 (seven years ago)

I must say that page has great web design (at least on my iPhone).

Mr. Snrub, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:25 (seven years ago)

idk one player option year is not a huge differentiator in the long run, i mean maybe theyd do it cause cause their roster is garbage making a brow trade demand likely but that situation is just gonna make giannis unhappy too

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:27 (seven years ago)

he's going to beat this michelin star concept into the ground for like the next five years

Jeff Bathos (symsymsym), Friday, 21 December 2018 18:28 (seven years ago)

id trade giannis for brow if i were the bucks but if i were the pelicans and id rather trade brow for some sort of more rebuilding type package

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:29 (seven years ago)

basically the context of the teams situation is completely missing from this, its more of a all things being equal wld u trade which is fine

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:30 (seven years ago)

like the warriors wldnt trade kd for tatum but if steph went down w a season ending injury tomorrow they prob wld since kd is prob out after this season

lag∞n, Friday, 21 December 2018 18:31 (seven years ago)

cj above kyrie huh lol

тпсбlack (Spottie), Friday, 21 December 2018 21:20 (seven years ago)

love to score 20 points a game and not really do other stuff

call all destroyer, Friday, 21 December 2018 21:52 (seven years ago)

wow their stats are uncannily similar

k3vin k., Saturday, 22 December 2018 00:47 (seven years ago)

i feel like deep down i always knew that ben gordon was the correct comparison but would never admit it to myself

Clay, Saturday, 22 December 2018 01:15 (seven years ago)

i checked their per game stats really quick after thinking of that before i posted it and am v. proud of myself after seeing their career shooting percentages and advanced rate stats.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 22 December 2018 01:21 (seven years ago)

the advanced rate stats are eerie

J0rdan S., Saturday, 22 December 2018 09:25 (seven years ago)

wow, that's impressively bad to look at on my laptop.

i know teams don't like to unload rookies that look somewhat promising, but there are a bunch on that list that are a long way from being actual good nba players.

it is so bizarre to pivot from 'dad talk with assholes' to this attempt at barbara walters style interview

u know what just gotta say credit to the guy he is good at understanding tech, way early on blogvoice and early enough on pods to become huge in both; not really my cup of tea but hes obvs great at actually doing them too

lag∞n, Friday, 17 January 2020 23:37 (six years ago)

funny to think if espn hung on to grantland it wld be way profitable by now via pods

lag∞n, Friday, 17 January 2020 23:38 (six years ago)

bill simmons is often wrong but usually good

k3vin k., Friday, 17 January 2020 23:43 (six years ago)
