i don’t hate this for the thunder... i do think to have a shot at doing anything beyond making the second round they need to acquire as much talent as possible and schroeder can play, which is more than we can say for what they prob would’ve done if they just bought out melo outright. still hard to picture him & russ on the floor together.

they basically acquired the most reggie jackson like player in the NBA who isn’t reggie jackson which for this franchise in particular is kinda odd

if schroder is convicted of a felony i think okc can void his contract? and if not, they may be able to salvage some of his value

i kinda like all the okc moves this summer. one year under their belt plus they know PG is locked in so they dont need to tip toe around that any more. i kinda think schroders problems are a little overstated at this point. he's a fine guy to have as your 4th or 5th best player. think he's a much better playmaker than reggie jackson as well..

in my defense the orlando magic theory was proposed before the oladipo / ibaka trade

i thought oladipo was actually good entirely based on a single celtics-magic game i went to where he went off and looked really impressive, and turned out to be right eventually but it took 2 trades to happen

i liked the theory but they ruined it with bad moves yup
