I’ve got a crew that I play with. Luke Walton and Richard Jefferson love to play. When Blake Griffin was here, he’d play all the time. Steve Nash loves to play. And Sasha Vujacic.

Yeah! He’s a really decent player. All of these guys live in the area, and once you live in this area, you kind of get attracted to beach volleyball. And once you start playing, you really start to love it.

i'm starting to let trae young into my life. i think at the very least he'll be a good playmaker. he really does have great instincts. gonna take a while for him to be physically ready to lead a team through a whole season though.

re tatum idk if he'll ever be able to bump anyone off their spot like lebron, need lower mass to be able to do that and he's pretty small from waste down. but opponents arms will def bounce of his shoulders/arms and he'll be able to finish through contact for sure.

I remember going to outdoor court long time ago and there was this guy who had the platonic ideal of a basketball body and was throwing down crazy dunks while warming up. Then he got in an actual game and he...sucked. A lot. Always think of him when I see NBA guys like Meyers.

yeah there are very few actual 7 footers

right, and it's not like they're just born with basketball talent. it's no shock they're less skilled than the little guys

i don't know enough about nuggets roster minutae but this doesn't seem like the most obvious fit? monte morris had a nice summer league so i thought they'd be giving him some minutes but maybe they felt like they needed another pg.

I tend more toward lagoon's assessment that he just doesn't have the feel for the game. He gets lost on the court sometimes, doesn't anticipate well and therefore can't block shots or cut off a driving opponent, and holds the ball too long before passing, mainly because he can't feel the flow of things on court. He has the NBA body, size and 'athleticism', but lacks an NBA talent for hoops.
