no, clippers dont have shit outside of tobias harris (who i kinda like but doesnt do much for the spurs now or in the future). lakers are not trading ingram so i think a lakers deal is sunk unless a deal elsewhere is imminent and magic panics

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 15:47 (seven years ago)

yeah id just hold on to him til the deadline if tobias harris is all thats on offer

sprout god (lag∞n), Monday, 9 July 2018 15:48 (seven years ago)

i assume theyd throw in shai gilgeous-alexander (whom i know nothing about) and picks.

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 16:13 (seven years ago)

kawhi making all this fuss then deciding on the clippers is actually super hilarious i just realized

sprout god (lag∞n), Monday, 9 July 2018 16:16 (seven years ago)

its too much.

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 16:25 (seven years ago)

I’m told Clint Capela felt undervalued during initial negotiations with Houston—he’s reportedly seeking more than the 4/80m given to Zach Lavine, and was offered a contract in the range of the 4/48m given to Nurkic.

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 21:06 (seven years ago)

goddamned bulls

omar little, Monday, 9 July 2018 21:14 (seven years ago)

GarPax only have jobs cause ownership too lazy/cheap to get replacement huh

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Monday, 9 July 2018 21:16 (seven years ago)

Good luck to Clint in this non-market for big men

EZ Snappin, Monday, 9 July 2018 21:33 (seven years ago)

in his defense its also a non-market for zach lavine and yet

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 21:34 (seven years ago)

houston really is not going to be as good this year

(•̪●) (carne asada), Monday, 9 July 2018 21:40 (seven years ago)

ariza was such a good glue player for them for the past several years

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 21:45 (seven years ago)

houston needs to come the fuck on and pay capela.

call all destroyer, Monday, 9 July 2018 22:10 (seven years ago)

they just lost luc too

@wojespn: Free agent forward Luc Mbah A Moute has agreed to a one-year deal with the Clippers, league source tells ESPN.

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:12 (seven years ago)

ballmer boyz

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 22:14 (seven years ago)

"Houston is detemined to sign Carmelo Anthony once he becomes free in OKC, sources tell ESPN."

d'antoni can't catch a break

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 22:19 (seven years ago)

rockets offseason is a disaster thus far

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:20 (seven years ago)

last year was their shot imo

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:20 (seven years ago)

gsw gonna cruise next year

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:21 (seven years ago)

still thinking about 'the rockets went ice cold and it killed them'

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 22:24 (seven years ago)

it's such a poetic phrase

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 22:24 (seven years ago)

im interested to see how harden comes out, he's been playing for that mvp trophy for four straight seasons wonder if he'll chill a little now that he got it

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:25 (seven years ago)

harden will put up like 29/6/8 like always

ciderpress, Monday, 9 July 2018 22:32 (seven years ago)

damn! if the rockets push capela out the door because they are panting after signing melo, I will be aghast. but since they are in the western conference, I suppose I can't complain if they shoot themselves in the foot. it would clear a bit more space near the top that my team could compete to fill.

A is for (Aimless), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:34 (seven years ago)

capella is restricted so he'll be back no matter what. but he could play on the qualifying offer and be pouty about it

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 22:54 (seven years ago)

some team could construct the offer sheet in a way that could severely fuck with them tho

J0rdan S., Monday, 9 July 2018 23:04 (seven years ago)

some team should. capela is worth poaching, if the rox don't feel like paying him

A is for (Aimless), Monday, 9 July 2018 23:06 (seven years ago)

too bad sacramento has drafted so many big men, this would be the perfect guy to throw a big offer sheet at.

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 23:07 (seven years ago)

atlanta could, right? theyve got cap space

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 23:08 (seven years ago)

the nets maybe?

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Monday, 9 July 2018 23:36 (seven years ago)

yeah that'd be good too

21st savagery fox (m bison), Monday, 9 July 2018 23:50 (seven years ago)

I don't think the Nets have space since Dwight's buyout is sitting on it like a dead log.

He'd be a good fit in Atlanta.

EZ Snappin, Monday, 9 July 2018 23:52 (seven years ago)

someone has got to take a stab at him

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 00:00 (seven years ago)

totally, houston will be significantly worse without him.

21st savagery fox (m bison), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 00:01 (seven years ago)

john collins is gonna have a big year. looking forward to him and taurean jumping in to bigger roles

Heez, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 01:22 (seven years ago)

i'm guessing neither the hawks nor nets think they're far enough along in their rebuild to consider throwing a big offer at capela though if i were them i'd certainly stop and think about it for 10 minutes. he's a really good player.

and if i'm capela i'd seriously consider playing on the qualifying offer if the rockets won't get in the area of $20M a year.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 01:26 (seven years ago)

the celtics will win

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:16 (seven years ago)

plucky young celtics: we got through the eastern conference, gang! all that's left in front of us are the mighty warriors, but i know we can do it if we just--

warriors: *are literally shooting fire from their hands and eating ill-behaved tech mavens' children as a pre-game snack*

21st savagery fox (m bison), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:28 (seven years ago)

celtics as constructed are exactly the type of team that can beat the warriors, which will seem obvious in retrospect

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:30 (seven years ago)

i mean the rockets werent event the right type of team and weirdly never quite gelled and prob wldve beat them if not for a bad cp3 hammy

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:31 (seven years ago)

rockets shutting down the warriors offense for three straight games i feel like shdve been noteworthy but everyone just moved on from that

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:33 (seven years ago)

the warriors "figured something out" iirc

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:34 (seven years ago)

figured out how to wear out a team down to a six man rotation in the second half

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:35 (seven years ago)

Figured out Chris Paul can’t play 10 games without breaking down

EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:39 (seven years ago)

CP3 the challenger o ring

scopin' VARs (Sufjan Grafton), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 02:53 (seven years ago)

rockets would have won if they didn't put on the worst 3pt shooting performance of the era

ciderpress, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 03:37 (seven years ago)

tbf they were also taking the worst shots ever

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 03:48 (seven years ago)

many of them were open

ciderpress, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 03:55 (seven years ago)

they had good shots in that game

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 July 2018 03:56 (seven years ago)

hmm no u guys

sprout god (lag∞n), Tuesday, 10 July 2018 03:58 (seven years ago)
