levine still has some —upside— but hes never really put it together, has been majorly injured, doesnt seem like a good risk

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:50 (five years ago) link

lavine is super fun to watch, I kinda miss him on the Wolves even if I don't think he's ever gonna be part of a good team

The Desus & Mero Chain (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:50 (five years ago) link

i’d rather have lavine on that contract then wiggins on his max

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:57 (five years ago) link

than*

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:57 (five years ago) link

bulls matched lmao

21st savagery fox (m bison), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:57 (five years ago) link

xpost yeah I probably would too, barring some huge breakthrough wigs is gonna be one of the most untradeable contacts in the league

The Desus & Mero Chain (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 7 July 2018 02:05 (five years ago) link

if i was in wolves management that contract would keep me up at night

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 02:07 (five years ago) link

he promised to get better tho

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 02:39 (five years ago) link

a promise is a promise

Nurkic 4/48 to stay in PDX

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Saturday, 7 July 2018 04:36 (five years ago) link

I don’t hate that

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 04:40 (five years ago) link

4/48 sounds fine to me. Nurkic is young. he shows flashes of excellence, but he's unreliable. compared to the Meyers Leonard contract, this is sober good sense.

A is for (Aimless), Saturday, 7 July 2018 04:45 (five years ago) link

that seems like a great price

k3vin k., Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:04 (five years ago) link

esp considering he’ll be only 27 in that fourth year

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:14 (five years ago) link

I’m seeing 4/53 but it’s negligible

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:14 (five years ago) link

yeah

k3vin k., Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:15 (five years ago) link

krokmaz is the next peja

, Saturday, 7 July 2018 13:54 (five years ago) link

nurk prob not a guy who will be able to play much in the playoffs as the league is currently constructed unless a match up really falls portland’s way but he’s a really good regular season player

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 14:25 (five years ago) link

its weird how smallball just trumps trad centers theres got to be a counter there somewhere idk

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 14:37 (five years ago) link

dunk shld be worth 2.3-2.7 points

, Saturday, 7 July 2018 14:43 (five years ago) link

this is pretty crazy

omar little, Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:01 (five years ago) link

I read that url as saying he was dead as fuck.

Jeff, Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:38 (five years ago) link

its true

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:50 (five years ago) link

its cool there are so many guns any mental breakdown can easily be turned into a police execution

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:51 (five years ago) link

the counter in theory should be posting up idk how it works in practice though. you can't score 3 points in the post in the offs because the refs don't call fouls

ciderpress, Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:05 (five years ago) link

rebounding too shd work but the problem is if u crash the glass that just increases the smallball fastbreak advantage, i think the whole thing basically comes down to that its so much easier to score in transition than the halfcourt these days

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:11 (five years ago) link

also feel like scoring in the post takes lots of skill, prob just easier to try and teach players jump shots

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:34 (five years ago) link

tim kawakami on zach lowe pod was talking about how the warriors really want post scoring and are using boogie as a sort of test run/proof of concept for future bigs they may want to sign (brow) but aside from someone like brow it just seems like post scoring in the offs is gonna be such a specialized skill, something that is done in 2 min spurts if a match up falls a certain way

this is my prob with a team built around joel embiid that nobody really talks about

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:36 (five years ago) link

If the NBA used FIBA goaltending rules it'd change things for the better. Ball is live when it hits the rim and either team can go get it without worrying about "in the cylinder" bullshit. Make your bigs matter.

EZ Snappin, Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:37 (five years ago) link

I personally like drive and kick basketball a lot more than post up basketball and don't really care if big men are important or not

k3vin k., Saturday, 7 July 2018 17:04 (five years ago) link

Unicorns are more fun than brutes

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Saturday, 7 July 2018 17:39 (five years ago) link

agreed totally i love the current state of the game its just interesting to think abt the strategic shifts and what comes next

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 20:20 (five years ago) link

i hope hes good enough to be a true nba heel, two incidents in two games, off to a sterling start

Grayson Allen and Wade Baldwin get into it, Summer League has everything.

man, boogie is already sounding like he's totally drinking the warriors koolaid, this team could just be ridiculously amazing

The Desus & Mero Chain (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 7 July 2018 22:40 (five years ago) link

uhhhh do any ILHers know about this??

k3vin k., Sunday, 8 July 2018 02:27 (five years ago) link

Insane

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Sunday, 8 July 2018 02:50 (five years ago) link

Clay, Sunday, 8 July 2018 03:07 (five years ago) link

max booker

Clay, Sunday, 8 July 2018 04:18 (five years ago) link

it's hard out there for a big...

bropez 1/3.4 to the bucks

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Sunday, 8 July 2018 21:40 (five years ago) link

the booker max is a straight 5 year. no player option in year 5

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Sunday, 8 July 2018 21:42 (five years ago) link

that one seems pretty defensible

J0rdan S., Sunday, 8 July 2018 21:55 (five years ago) link

yeah its good. he's gotten better every year

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Sunday, 8 July 2018 22:00 (five years ago) link

hes still has some major question marks imho but yeah no brainer for the suns i mean they suck anyway

sprout god (lag∞n), Sunday, 8 July 2018 22:29 (five years ago) link

Source close to Chris Paul tells me that CP3 is advocating for the #Rockets to acquire his good friend, Carmelo Anthony. Melo, 34, made a career-high 169 3-pointers last season on a career-high 474 attempts (35.7 percent). https://t.co/C8LT4rSpFF
