its good the kings are around to scoop up disappointed guys

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:12 (seven years ago)

Some one on Bulls twitter says to let him go to free up cap space for 2019 so we can watch all the free agents sign somewhere else other than Chicago.

Jeff, Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:19 (seven years ago)

I say match it. It’s overpaying, but not obscenely so. Can always trade later.

Jeff, Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:33 (seven years ago)

i wld not be confident in being able to trade later if i were the bulls

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:36 (seven years ago)

Tough but fair

Jeff, Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:36 (seven years ago)

I just hate when bulls fans get hung up on upcoming free agents, we have to keep cap space to sign Butler back! Then Kyrie! We’ll get Klay! Then Anthony Davis, they’ll all come here! Ain’t going to happen.

Jeff, Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:52 (seven years ago)

i would be personally driving lavine to the airport at that number.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:56 (seven years ago)

you're right that free agents aren't giving chicago a second glance right now, but signing contracts like that assure that they would remain that way for many years.

xp

21st savagery fox (m bison), Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:57 (seven years ago)

He didn’t look great after coming back from the Acl

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Saturday, 7 July 2018 00:59 (seven years ago)

4/38 Memphis offer sheet to Slo Mo

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:00 (seven years ago)

like he's still p young, but nothing in these 4 seasons tells me this dude is worth that contract. terrible defensively, major injuries already, shooting pct trash, and he's getting all-star level money? nahhhhhh.

xxp

happy for him that he got a nice payday. not sure how good of a value that is if the spurs want to keep their powder dry. 50-50 call if the spurs match, i think they will and then spurs twitter will kill themselves.

Bulls need to prepare for the dynasty that traditionally follows a stoked lakers/celtics rivalry

scopin' VARs (Sufjan Grafton), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:06 (seven years ago)

i’m still a pretty big levine fan but who ever knows with those second contracts... i wouldn’t hate that for the bulls

apparently the bulls are trying to keep space open for brow but i think they have like 0 money committed past 19 so they could prob match that

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:47 (seven years ago)

makes as much sense as anything for the kings tho

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:48 (seven years ago)

levine still has some —upside— but hes never really put it together, has been majorly injured, doesnt seem like a good risk

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:50 (seven years ago)

lavine is super fun to watch, I kinda miss him on the Wolves even if I don't think he's ever gonna be part of a good team

The Desus & Mero Chain (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:50 (seven years ago)

i’d rather have lavine on that contract then wiggins on his max

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:57 (seven years ago)

than*

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:57 (seven years ago)

bulls matched lmao

21st savagery fox (m bison), Saturday, 7 July 2018 01:57 (seven years ago)

xpost yeah I probably would too, barring some huge breakthrough wigs is gonna be one of the most untradeable contacts in the league

The Desus & Mero Chain (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 7 July 2018 02:05 (seven years ago)

if i was in wolves management that contract would keep me up at night

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 02:07 (seven years ago)

he promised to get better tho

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 02:39 (seven years ago)

a promise is a promise

Nurkic 4/48 to stay in PDX

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Saturday, 7 July 2018 04:36 (seven years ago)

I don’t hate that

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 04:40 (seven years ago)

4/48 sounds fine to me. Nurkic is young. he shows flashes of excellence, but he's unreliable. compared to the Meyers Leonard contract, this is sober good sense.

A is for (Aimless), Saturday, 7 July 2018 04:45 (seven years ago)

that seems like a great price

k3vin k., Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:04 (seven years ago)

esp considering he’ll be only 27 in that fourth year

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:14 (seven years ago)

I’m seeing 4/53 but it’s negligible

Clay, Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:14 (seven years ago)

yeah

k3vin k., Saturday, 7 July 2018 05:15 (seven years ago)

krokmaz is the next peja

, Saturday, 7 July 2018 13:54 (seven years ago)

nurk prob not a guy who will be able to play much in the playoffs as the league is currently constructed unless a match up really falls portland’s way but he’s a really good regular season player

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 14:25 (seven years ago)

its weird how smallball just trumps trad centers theres got to be a counter there somewhere idk

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 14:37 (seven years ago)

dunk shld be worth 2.3-2.7 points

, Saturday, 7 July 2018 14:43 (seven years ago)

this is pretty crazy

omar little, Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:01 (seven years ago)

I read that url as saying he was dead as fuck.

Jeff, Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:38 (seven years ago)

its true

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:50 (seven years ago)

its cool there are so many guns any mental breakdown can easily be turned into a police execution

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 15:51 (seven years ago)

the counter in theory should be posting up idk how it works in practice though. you can't score 3 points in the post in the offs because the refs don't call fouls

ciderpress, Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:05 (seven years ago)

rebounding too shd work but the problem is if u crash the glass that just increases the smallball fastbreak advantage, i think the whole thing basically comes down to that its so much easier to score in transition than the halfcourt these days

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:11 (seven years ago)

also feel like scoring in the post takes lots of skill, prob just easier to try and teach players jump shots

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:34 (seven years ago)

tim kawakami on zach lowe pod was talking about how the warriors really want post scoring and are using boogie as a sort of test run/proof of concept for future bigs they may want to sign (brow) but aside from someone like brow it just seems like post scoring in the offs is gonna be such a specialized skill, something that is done in 2 min spurts if a match up falls a certain way

this is my prob with a team built around joel embiid that nobody really talks about

J0rdan S., Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:36 (seven years ago)

If the NBA used FIBA goaltending rules it'd change things for the better. Ball is live when it hits the rim and either team can go get it without worrying about "in the cylinder" bullshit. Make your bigs matter.

EZ Snappin, Saturday, 7 July 2018 16:37 (seven years ago)

I personally like drive and kick basketball a lot more than post up basketball and don't really care if big men are important or not

k3vin k., Saturday, 7 July 2018 17:04 (seven years ago)

Unicorns are more fun than brutes

Hall of Fam (Spottie), Saturday, 7 July 2018 17:39 (seven years ago)

agreed totally i love the current state of the game its just interesting to think abt the strategic shifts and what comes next

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 20:20 (seven years ago)

i hope hes good enough to be a true nba heel, two incidents in two games, off to a sterling start

Grayson Allen and Wade Baldwin get into it, Summer League has everything.

sprout god (lag∞n), Saturday, 7 July 2018 20:50 (seven years ago)

man, boogie is already sounding like he's totally drinking the warriors koolaid, this team could just be ridiculously amazing
