CAD: grew up in upstate NY with parents who went to syracuse for grad school --> syracuse college fan --> won title with melo --> became nuggets fan when he got drafted --> cooled on melo but ultimately stayed with nuggets as I became a more discerning basketball fan

We won't be seeing hide nor hair of boogie for quite a few months, yet. He'll be rehabbing, attending team meetings, watching practices, hanging out with assistant coaches. But he won't be visible in an NBA game until much, much later. They'll have to limp along without him (see what I did there).

it’s such a weird summer. the only teams with cap space are bad and we know the last thing you wanna do with boogie is put him on a bad team.

imo a lot of good players grow up on school, aau and college teams that are all obscenely stacked and playing in the nba is their first experience of parity. its not surprising that they go on to join superteams to dunk on punks
