In absolute terms, based solely on overall hoops excellence, the Warriors over the past 4 years have been better than any comparable 4 year run by any other NBA team ever. In relative terms, considering the general level of athleticism of each era, their only competition would be the Celtics dynasty when Bill Russell was at his peak.

For anyone born in the latter half of the 80s that's what you had to deal every time you discussed basketball. So through that lens warriors is not really bad. It just so happens that their dominance is set against the hero of the story.

i was born well before the end of the 80's and i feel like i've been dealing with that story since before kobe was in the league!

Lebron James has finally clawed his way past Jordan on my all time best list. Kareem was not nearly as flashy as lbj or mj, but he may still have a tiny edge over LeBron for another season or two. Longevity counts. Kobe just isn't in that conversation.

few dynasties lol this is a sport where the Celtics won 11 straight the lakers won five in a decade only really interrupted by a Celtics mini dynasty the bulls won 3+3 with a little break that barely counts the spurs dominated nearly an entirely decade and now the warriors will have won 3 out of 4 and only lost the one due to a superhuman effort from the 1 or 2 player of all time

anyone else notice lebron switching out from guarding KD pretty much the whole 4th? seemed like a few time a warrior player would just kinda run by kd and not even bother to actually screen and they would still switch anyway.

teams switch with almost no provocation these days i dont quite understand it, maybe its just for simplicities sake
