could it just be that basketball is more prone to dynasties of the sort? once you get a really good player on your roster you are just that better than the other team, so it compounds pretty well if you have several top tier talent.

basketball has had very few dynasties (or anything resembling, for example, the patriots). i hate the warriors but I’d be surprised if they win another championship without major changes to their current roster (like losing one of their primary four).

yes, longer contracts and the fact that the better teams almost always win the series

really don't see why the warriors couldn't return this same roster next year and coast to another title barring injury and assuming bron doesnt go to houston
